I enjoy this game thoroughly every time I play.

Criticisms aside (this game will be much better once complete) I can't imagine better application of the Killer Bunnies run mechanic. The ship upgrade store that's coming soon will improve the game greatly.

Killer Bunnies is not for you if you play hardcore strategy games solely to crush your adversaries and relish on the geniusness of your tactics. It's a silly fun game.

Critisizing the mechanics of this game is as ridiculous as critisizing the mechanics of "Double Trouble" or "Pictionary".

Killer Bunnies bridges the gap between party games and serious strategy games. It offers details in the rules while keeping it light by relying on silliness and chance.

You can't play this game just to win. Or else, you'll be bored and frustrated. There's hidden humour in there! Enjoy the ride!

This one definately doesn't get enough play. It took me awhile to really get to like it. Might get more play now that my parents have played it. Then I might have to get the expansion. Bunnies in space, what could be awesomer?

If like KB should like this.
Official variants to make the game more suited to various tastes. Much more strategic then KB.

Very similar to the original Killer Bunnies, so I'll give it the same rating for now.

I do like using the board and moving the spaceships around to collect carrots better than buying the carrots or getting them directly via cards, but with just the base set there seems to be too much of an advantage to getting into space first - although, that's not much different than simply having a lot more bunnies than everyone else in the original game.

This adds some extra elements to the traditional Killer Bunnies game, and I, for one, welcome them. I enjoyed that getting carrots involved getting bunnies on spaceships and flying around the solar system looking for them. The turns still go quickly and I found the game to be pretty enjoyable.

Might not be the deepest game or have the greatest strategy but still there is fun to be had if players know what they can do and how to execute it.

Adds some interesting space gameplay to Killer Bunnies but really just drags the game out longer (especially if you have players who like to re-distribute the carrots near completion). Those who don't enjoy the random endings to KB will not like this either.

Not a bad killer bunnies game, but a bit dissapointing. There didn't feel like a there was a complete connection betweent the cards & the spaceship. (other than using the cards to launch the bunnies.) Perhaps with the expansions there will be better integration. The base game feels like i'm playing two different games.

I bought this game thinking that it would be fun to play with my daughter (she was begging for me to purchase it). I regret the purchase. The game is far too complex for what it is. Gameplay feels stilted with all the awkward rules and the rules are not well explained at all. There are two separate rule books which are somewhat redundant with each other, and this in itself should have been a clue to the designers that they were getting carried away. I have shelved this indefinately with the hope that we might find more patience for trying it out another day in the far future.

Hmm... The idea is cool. The actual play though is a bit lame. It's basically regualr killer bunnies, but instead of playing choose a carrot card, you have to fly around a HUGE universe to collect them. This would be fun except the ships take forever to move around, and it's pretty easy to take someone out thus ruining you last 5 turns worth of work. They needed to exclude the ground bunny circle I think to make this flow better, and reduce the number of space hexes. I'll still play it if someone really wants to, but it's not my first choice.

The game has it's moments of brilliance, but then again, which ones don't? The key to truly playing this is removing some of the cards and altering a couple of rules to prevent the game from getting too boring/unfair. After you do that, you will find yourself enjoying it.

Chaotic and too long game. Rules are over-complicated for such a simple game. Too much depends on luck of the draw. Rulebook is awful, I had to read some parts few times to understand. Boring.

Somehow, I thought this would be a NEW game, not just a few new mechanics tagged onto the basic Killer Bunnies. Keeps all the poorly thought out parts of KB and makes them worse; even more cards that you have to have in order to accomplish anything, more fiddliness.

This game's rating will be massively overrated for quite some time since noone who gave a poor rating to the original game would seek to play this. Most people in that camp would probably rate this - a longer, more convoluted version of the same unbalanced luckfest - lower, unless the humour of satire makes its mark somehow.

I am not a fan of the Killer Bunnies. This game is so unbalanced with serious runaway leader issues. Granted I was playing a two player game.
1. you need bunnies in certain places to use most cards. If one player achieves that while the other does not (because they don't get the cards needed or because another player kills their bunnies) the effect is one player can not do anything (nearly) while the other can act with impunity and be ready to kill their opponents next bunny as soon as he turns up.
2. Ths is greatly compounded compared to the original game by needing spaceships also and they are in quite limited supply.
3. If the player who has a bunny in space and on earth gets a crew of three together they get two turns per round - if ever there was a blatant runaway leader rule in an unbalanced game this is it.
Needless to say I only ever kept a bunny for a round or two and launched my first ship just before the end of the game because my opponent was bored of not having any opposition.

"Great strategic fun?!?" Really?!? Somehow they've taken what was already a dreadful waste of time and made it even more interminable! The only saving grace (other than the cards... they're really quite nice!) is that you can quit mid-game and it will have no effect on the game!

This would be too long if it lasted several minutes... the fact that it can take a couple of hours with multiple players is just mind-blowing. If you like your games completely random and filled with plenty of take-thats, this could be your shining star. Otherwise, steer VERY clear! You have been warned!
