Played once, initial impressions very good. Feels like a long-ish fairly heavy filler.

Essen 2008, signed by Michael Schacht.

Nice card game of collecting card in number sets: 1 of '1' thru to 9 of '9'. Whoever has the most of each number scores that total (most 9's gets 9 points) & others just get 1 point per card. Can be played as a light filler or, depending on players, can be analysed quite a bit more!

A light-ish set-collecting bidding game featuring gorillas and bananas. Cards you blind draw restrict where you can bid. Limited actions to bid or draw, and the decisions can become quite tense. I think this would work well for groups who find Felix: The Cat in the Sack too fluffy & random.

Boss Kito: a mix of bidding and set collection. It plays rather quickly, and you also quickly get the idea that there is room for smart play.

Although I enjoyed the game, I did not get the idea that there was anything new in the game that is not in one of the bid games that I already have, eg For Sale, Felix: The Cat in the Sack, and Money!.

btw, I still wonder whether the author chose the name of this game subconsciously or whether he knows that the Gorilla named BOKITO shocked the Netherlands last year ....

A fun auction / hand management game with great art and theme. The cards are oversized, like those in Felix. The box is way bigger than it needs to be.

It's an exercise in king-making - each round choosing who of the other players to compete against and hoping you'll be stronger. But at least the theme is banana-ry fun, it's quick and very playable.

A well-designed short auction game, with a big "ärgerfaktor": you often play to block an opponent from getting a card, instead of playing to get something for yourself.

Nice theme -maybe too nice: the game can get a little bit nasty.

Not a bad filler, better than I expected. There is some planning you can do, because you know which cards are coming up in the next round.

A very light game from Mr.Schacht that provides for a few interesting decisions. Tip: Turn order is important (and changes depends on the acquisition of certain cards).
