Again, this is another one that my 5 year old daughter absolutely adores. She really gets into the storytelling aspect of the game, and I'm certain that it has the same effect on others in that age range.

Not recommended for anyone older than eight or nine tops, unless they have a very simple taste in games.

Rating based on a child. This game encourages creativity in solving the problems that players face on their way to granny's house. Being a cooperative game, it also encourages teamwork and sharing.

This game is a great imagination game for young children. Any answer is correct, but they have to work together to figure out how to get through the dark woods, across the river, and get by the sleeping bear.

Cute little co-op which allows the child(ren) to decide on the strategy. Production values poor, but typical for the publisher. Good for children under 7.

Decent problem solving type game for very young children. Not much replayability.

This is properly my favorite game by this company I have played- It is like an introduction to roleplaying for 6 year olds.
Players are confronted with challenges while trying to get to grandma's house and must figure out how to overcome them with the items they are carrying. A strong imagination can make for some silly ways to use a rock to defeat the hot sun.

My daughter nad I have created new good things and have discussed making a new board.

Horrible components but fun game that encourages creative thinking and problem solving - there could be a lot more to this game with more obstacles, more item chits, and additional letters from grandma at the end.

Played as a kid. Had a fairly well-produced version, not the cheap one shown here. I loved reading the note at the end of the track that said you had to go back!
