One of the few games that scales well no matter what number of people are playing.

Enjoy this one with two or three players. Can be random so we don't play this one with four.

A wonderful production by Uberplay and another impressive game design by Schacht. The board composition changes and needs re-evaluated during every turn while available options are limited due to lack of funds creating great turn angst. Plays very well with 2.

I have mixed feelings about this game. On one hand it seems almost programmed -- your choices seem obvious. It also suffers from having your decisions dictated chiefly by the player to your right. A weak player to your right can really hand you the game.

Even so, I like the game. Three or four players make for an interesting game, but as a two-player it becomes a rather intense little abstract. And with only two players, you no longer have the weak-player-to-your-right problem.

UPDATE: Several more plays, and I'm coming around. I like this game very much. I no longer get that "programmed" feeling from it. But it does have a bit of a puzzle element to it as you try to find the most optimal move for yourself that won't also set up the next player.

Except for the random tile replenishment, there's no luck in this at all. However, it's impossible to play a long-term strategy. This game is all about short-term tactics -- and it's an excellent tactical game.

UPDATE: I have decided after several plays that this game deserves a "10." It's a perfect little game, good with any number of players and excellent with two.

This game rocks! its amazing that such a simple game can be so fun and in depth. Not sure why the score is so low everyone that plays it loves it. One of the the best games in our group

Schacht's best design is this brilliant pick-up and deliver. Simple rules and quick play time offering subtle strategies. One of my favorites.

Excellent game. Takes a few turns to see the bigger picture, but once you do the game packs a lot into its short play time.

Played the AI-driven java applet (and lose 99% of the time). My curiosity is piqued - seems like a smart strategy game and I must try the board version with real opponents.

Played this several times with two. Lots of tough decisions, one must scan the board before each play to isolate the best moves (or lack thereof!) Good mechanism that the best move could be not moving. Might be slow with the wrong people.

Very enjoyable and well-balanced game. I thoroughly enjoy this. Leads to difficult decisions and has a fair amount of player interaction for a game of it's type.

Great mechanic with the balance of money goods and market places used to move, position, and gain vps. Goods (vps) must be given up to gain opportunities in future rounds.

The gameplay is great and the art is wonderful. However, while the theme definitely works, there's no real hook here that makes it stand out. I don't really mind. By the way, colorblind people should probably look for another game. UPADATE: Ugraded my rating to 9. This game has surprising replay value and more player interaction than I initially thought. Good stuff!

Don't play this game enough. But got to remember to spread out my pieces so I don't always get caught on the wrong side of the board.
