Only 1 worthwhile wonder was added, not worth the price of entry.

A pretty terrible expansion in terms of both theme and mechanics. The new game boards feature some pretty half-assed ideas and extremely poor balancing. Can't really recommend for anyone.

Four new wonders sound great. But Stonehenge is just plain weak, Abu Simbel only works with Leaders expansion, and I find Manneken Pis to be uninspiring. You can do without the Wonder Pack, in my opinion.

The four wonders in this expansion are, on average, average.

The Great Wall of China is an excellent board, introducing a new game play mechanism that works well with both the base game and full game with expansions.

Stonehenge's side B is interesting for the guild-like mechanism of the second stage, but the stages requiring stone resources are usually of low value, and easily countered by opponents.

Abu Simbel is usually a tradeoff between receiving victory points directly from a leader, or slaughtering them for a point or two more at the cost of a late-game card. It's sad that Esteban is the best leader to entomb, as he is both high cost and worthless once used.

Manneken Pis is a shadow of the stand-alone promo's glory, not only dropping the "beer from the winner" as expected, but also restricting side A to limit the flexibility of stage three.

Overtext is really cool. The best 100 GG I've ever spent.

Well. I'm actually bored with overtext. Why did I give all that GG away?

That's all? Seriously? Maybe you start making an expansion of only ONE wonder (hello FFG!).

Adds 4 wonders that range from playable to new players to overly complicated to really silly. I don't really recommend bothering, but it does add some variety.

If I could buy The Great Wall alone for $5, I would. But the full price is more than I'm willing to pay for one good wonder, two of the worst ones, and a novelty wonder that was already available as a print-and-play.

The Great Wall - Nice wonder, and fun. Very flexible with a variety of abilities able to be built (or not) in any order.

Abu Simbel - Hate it. Feast or famine based entirely on which leaders you see in the draft. The only really outstanding ones are Ramses, Bilkis, Archimedes, and sometimes Caesar. Removes the fun of the Leaders expansion, which is actually USING the leaders and planning around them. My least favorite official wonder so far.

Stonehenge - Side A is terribly weak and terribly boring. Side B is challenging but possibly worth pursuing. That second stage represents a LOT of point potential but the two triple resource costs (plus desire for multiple stone) present a real obstacle. My second-least favorite official wonder after Abu Simbel.

Manneken Pis - Why remove the beer reward from this jokey novelty board? Side B is fun and viable. Side A is generally weak, and too dependent on seating order. Would rather have seen a genuinely new board. I already have this wonder in my box, and rarely use it due to the thematic silliness.
