After a few more plays, I don't really see much from this game. I think the idea is great, but the thief can really get screwed on the dice rolls. This can make it so someone just doesn't have fun when they play the thief. I got the enjoyment out of the game I hoped to get, but I don't think there's much left in this game.
Just what I expect from this game. Tons of fragging with a bit of strategy involved. Light hearted game that doesn't take itself seriously one bit. I really felt like I was playing the PC game and I loved it.
Only problem is there are just soooo many components to the game that set up takes a while sometimes. That aside, the game is amazing for just having friends over with some beers for a good time.
Just a simple card battle game. Not too deep, but also not deep enough. It's good enough to kill time, though. Plays quick. But I don't see it being played a lot, since it can easily become dull and boring.
None the less as a big fan of Penny Arcade, the game does carry on with the humor and as always Gabe's art is amazing.
Not quite as deep as 2210, but much better than vanilla Risk. Sometimes a bit too chaotic, and the underworld looks great on paper but is terrible in execution. Better played without it. Maybe a modified underworld with a few more territories would work out better?
