I've been interested in this since it came out. It sounds like an excellent 'Next Step' level game. That level of game tends to hit my sweet spot. I have not played it so I'm interested in this based on reputation alone.
This one is more of a want for my wife. We own a crusty, old copy of Password that she always talks about how much she likes but we've never actually broken it out. It's my hope that this will give us an opportunity to bust out something very much like password, for everyone to enjoy.
I played The Duke back when it was brand new. I really enjoyed it. I tried to sell a couple of my typical opponents on it but none of them ever got excited by the idea. Each time I see it I think about buying it but have been unwilling to take the leap based on not knowing who I'd play it with.
I like D&D. I like board games. My history with D&D board games is mixed. I owned Ravenloft but let it go for lack of players and I felt like I had gotten everything from it I was going to. Then, a few years later (last yea), I borrowed it from a friend and found it really fun and challenging to play. It made me want to get another copy but I haven't actually done that yet.
I've played two games of Nations. I liked it a fair bit but didn't absolutely love it. When I looked, it was $100 which felt like about twice what it was worth. It's come down since then so it's a want.
I've not played any of the Space Cadets line of products as they've all been a little intimidating to teach and play. This one feels accessible to me and I like it's mission focus and campaign concept as opposed to the huge party game atmosphere of the first game. I've not played this so interest is on reputation alone.
I have played the Stronghold edition of Survive and liked it. I never quite got around to buying it because the only people I would play it with already had a copy. I no longer get to play with those folks so it's time to consider a copy for myself. Since this new edition exists, it seems like a natural fit.
