The ships are a neat addition. I need another play or two to decide how much I like it.
UPDATE (Mar. '14): It's a bit swingy, depending on if you draw one of the ships early enough, but bringing down a "ship hammer" on your opponent is pretty satisfying.

A very slippery deck! My wife destroyed me with this one while I was playing the Khind.

I like the retrieve mechanism used here. The temptation to hold on to your powerful character cards needs to be balanced with the need to look through the other cards in your deck.

The gangs are a neat addition, although they require a bit more luck management.

The almost-naked ladies might make this one a little awkward to play in certain contexts, but the pairs and free cards (I can't play boosters? Take THAT!) make it pretty neat.

Sort of the flip-side of the Vulca. Pitting the two of them against each other makes for a good battle!

It's a river! Potentially causes Giant Field Syndrome (GFS), but careful play can deal with that.

My second favourite expansion, after I&C. I'll rarely play without this one.

I've only played with it once, but it was lots of fun! Not terribly strategic card, but I'm glad I have it.

I've had it in the card mix, but I haven't bothered to buy it yet. I'm sure the time will come though, but till then I'm not going to give it a rating.

UPDATE (Sept. 2010): Kinda goofy, but definitely worth a look if there aren't too many ways of getting extra cards in your hand in a given layout.

(Apr. 2011): It's hard to to know when to pick a leader, but I tried it a couple of times in my last game and I won, so I guess they aren't so bad!
UPDATE (Aug. 2011): I don't bring it out when teaching, but whenever all the players have played before, there's no reason not to include it. I tend to buy a couple of leaders per game, and it seems to work out for me.

You need some serious table space if you're going to use both of there. For truly epic tracks!

The best expansion for Settlers, in my opinion. Enough new stuff to keep it interesting, but without the rules overload and randomness that tends to bog down Cities and Knights.

Not as good as Cursed!, but still worth throwing into the mix.

If you own TtR:Europe, there's no reason not to pick this up as well. With them both, that's all the Ticket to Ride I need.

It adds some nice flavour to the base game. Since I don't own either of the base games, though, I don't actually play with it much!
