BH218 Cards.pdf (5.65 MB) (Log in or Register to download.)
For owners of the game looking for a printer friendly and colorblind friendly version featuring allied forces vs. axis forces (inspired by FezAZ). Background colors are lighter to print with less ink saturation.

I liked the idea of a version with one player playing allied forces and the other playing axis forces. My main concern was to make it printer friendly (lighter background to use less ink and keep the paper from being oversaturated). I used as many of the original images as I could find.

I wanted to do a more military themed banner across the tops of the cards (the marble look didn't do it for me). I settled on a banner resembling a ribbon awarded for service on either side of the conflict (complete with moire effect and shading to make it look more dimensional). The title on each card is rendered to look like the metal appliances attached to the ribbons.

For the background I wanted something lighter and that might look like it should have a military ribbon attached to it, so I went with a rough canvas in contrasting colors for each side.

Hopefully this treatment does the game justice and works well for players looking for a conflict with unique cards for each side!

I have made a version of this at half size, for smaller tables:

Thanks for this great redesign!

Could anyone please tell me where I could get a file copy of the "half size" version of these colorblind cards for printing?

Best regards.
