Version 0.1 of a new graphical player bidding board. The goal is to make the bidding squares more visually intuitive and accessible for younger / non-english players. It certainly needs more spit and polish, but I believe that the general design is sound.

NOTE: This version has an improper point value for the innkeeper (1 instead of 3). New version is pending.

Any suggestions? The Spy and Apothecary are the weakest in terms of graphically describing the action, but I'm no UI designer... Paul, if you're around, what sort of decision making process did you go through with the German printing? got any updated images so that we can see how the new bidding board looks?

I like the idea a lot. I'm going to print and use these.

Suggestion: include the name of the area influenced with the image, and the focus is still "graphical" - the name can be matched visually even by a non-reader, or in a different language without semantic meaning. (Just noticed the Market happens to have the name included in the image.)

Problem with Spy and Apothecary: they might be interpreted as being specific to the colors in question, precisely because they're different.
Suggestion: Use the same color on both for the non-blue (I'd use yellow for the contrast).

Suggestion: Printer needs 10! in the upper corner for consistency with all other support bonuses. Whether to leave the 10! in the middle, or leave middle blank, or put some "flavor text" like a piece of parchment and quill . . . I don't know. My first thought was leave it there.
