Thunderstone & Elements Randomizer w Promos 1.0.xls (32 KB) (Log in or Register to download.)
This file is a simple randomizer for game setup that includes both the Thunderstone base game and Wrath of the Elements, and also includes the Clan hero promos available at BGG and the Guardian promo from GenCon.

Use the standard F9 key to refresh and randomize again. I left all the working cells to the right unhidden in case anyone wants to see how to do a file like this of their own. I set this up so the randomization self-adjusts to choose the correct number of Dungeon Features and Monsters. Adjust the colors if you are able as the standard ones are poor for xls files.

Thanks for the Randomizer, I always found it difficult trying to pick them randomly.

Hello,
First of all, thanks for the randomizer, a lot faster than the deck when i've got my pc handy.

Now, i've noticed that when the "pick two" feature comes up, it fails to actually pick the two features... am i missing something or its not working? (perhaps theres no way to make that work in excel?)

Anyway, thanks!

Pablo,
Thanks for the note. In short, I actively chose not to do anything with the Pick 2 card in the file, as it felt like that should be left to the group you are playing with. It is possible within Excel, but that adds another layer to this, and while not rocket science here, that kind of layering, I frankly didn't think it worth the time, but feel free. You can also hit the F9 key again. I did notice one logical flaw and have fixed my home file, and may upload a version 1.1 (comes up rarely). I can look into dealing with the Pick 2, to explicitly put it into the file, but don't hold your breath - I figure if you have to pick 2, and those are chosen for you, that might make the dungeon a tad annoying, and prefer the free choice on that one card.
Thanks again for the commnet.

I don't really mind, and you're probably right. Just wanted to make sure it was a choice and not an error

Once again, thanks for the file!
