HOLLY JOLLY.pdf (273 KB) (Log in or Register to download.)
This would be version 2.0 of the Holly Jolly! playset for the 2010 Fiasco Playset Contest. I've added the cover page, made a few changes to some of the details, and fixed some spelling mistakes.

Holly_Jolly.pdf (59 KB) (Log in or Register to download.)
This is this the core Holly Jolly! playset for the 2010 Fiasco Playset Contest. It includes the standard "setup phase" tables, and a custom Tilt Table.

If we care about version control, this would be version 1.0.

I really like this! I'm going to put together a session and I'll let you know how it goes.

That would be awesome. I'm a little concerned about the more fantastical elements of it;i.e. giving a player some strange powers that can overload the game (whether because they are supernatural or through a magical device), so I tried to keep that to a minimum while still having the capability of it. Hopefully, I was able to keep that part to a minimum while still giving the opportunity to play around with those kind of things.

If nothing else, I think it's a nice little diversion from the usual gritty affairs that Fiasco winds up creating.

I think the custom tilt table is pretty much a requirement for this theme, so I was pretty happy with the way that turned out.

A playset for a great RPG by an intensely innovative designer, and with a great theme. Yes, I'm checking this out.
