Civilization - Player Mats.pdf (896 KB) (Log in or Register to download.)
Based on the player mats by Ron K (RaDiKal), these mats use somewhat subtler colors and no background images, which improves readability. They also have a cut line at the bottom of the page so they can fit in the Avalon Hill box.

Here's an image of one of the nine player reference mats in the file:

Hi Donovan,

I have a question on Step 9 of the sequence of play. You have written that ties in city count are decided by "reverse AST order". I do not see that referenced anywhere in my rulebook (I have the Avalon Hill 1980 edition). I am wondering if that is an Advanced Civilization rule?

Thanks, Mike

Mike, I have the same rules you do and can't find it either. My guess is that I got it from the player mats on which mine are based -- by Ron K (RaDiKal) -- and he might've gotten this from a FAQ or from Advanced Civilization.
