At the start of the game you should shuffle all non-selected starting worlds into the deck. At the end of the game you should fetch them for the next game. If you have these dummies printed, you save time during set up by always having the starting worlds shuffled (and these dummies easily accessible). I used to have all starting worlds just separated, but some of them are quite useful and good to have around.

You have to shuffle all unused starting worlds in the deck per original rules, and, what's worse, find them in the deck and put them away after each game.
If you print those, you can use printed worlds to start the game and never take away original starting worlds from the deck.

If you do this, aren't you introducing extra copies of the starting worlds into the game?

Yes, you could run into the same starting world in the deck that someone uses. You may discard it and draw another card though.
