FlameConeRevised.pdf (1.55 MB) (Log in or Register to download.)
This is a printable pdf template for the flamer because Cherokee Bill always has a flamer, but there is no area of effect grid on his character card, so you'll have to look up the flamer template if the flamer card is in the search deck.

The upper image is slightly larger than necessary. It contains all the necessary knowledge, including a reminder that you can only fire a flamer in the direction the knife points on the base of the figures, i.e. straight ahead. That was clarified by the designer.

Thread here: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/674160/flamer-template-i...

Oh, and just to be crystal clear, this is a fan-based modification of the awesome Descent Fire Breath template.

I don't think this is required for Cherokee Bill as he is not using the equipment card flamer unless he is equipped with it.

In the Scenario guide it refers to his weapon as miniature flame throwers attached to his wrists. As there is no mention of using a template their effect is similar to a bolter, or rifle , so I assume it fires in small bursts or pulses , to minimise fuel usage, splash effects etc. As opposed to a full flame thrower which has a "blast area" and requires a large pressurised tank .

No, actually he carries the equipment. This is confirmed by the designer. It's been quite a while since I looked into it, but back then I even asked the question of whether he could fire his wrist-mounted flamers off to the side or just as the knife points, i.e. straight ahead.

So, yes, play how you want, but, according to the rules, Bill has the Flamer equipment all the time. That's why he has a huge canister on his back.
