I love the floating city mechanic and spell cards.

I will house rule the spell cards to only work with heroes who use magic.

You know I support your House Rules, but I will add that the idea for these Spell Scrolls is that they have magic in them when created by the Wizards of the White Tower and therefore do not require a magic user to cast.

Let me know how your house rule on this works. I am curious as to whether it limits use of these Spell Scrolls too much.

Thanks - Richard

Shouldn't the Eagle Rider be able to fly into the city?

Yes - I should have added that rule.

Thanks - Richard

I have added this in the forum but want to add it here as well. A more challenging game set up change is as follows:

Add 3 Taint Crystals to the Center of the City Tile. These cannot be removed to use as Taint Crystals until the Magic Crystals have all been removed.

If all the Magic Crystals have been removed, the City floats to the ground. Should that happen, remove the 3 Taint Crystals from the City Tile and place them to the side of the board as the remaining Taint Crystal reserve.

This means the City can float to the ground without the game ending in a Taint Crystal Loss.

Thanks for playing - Richard
