Regra de uma variante do Taluva.pdf (61 KB) (Log in or Register to download.)
É uma variante do jogo, onde todas as peças do jogo original são usadas normalmente, mudando apenas a forma de jogar. ( It is a variant of the game, where all the parts of the original game are used normally, changing only the form to play.)
I have tried to do a translation, but there is a few questions that I did not manage to figure out (see ? below).
Placement and Scoring Variant by Hermes Herbert Müller
In this variant all parts of the original game are used.
Preparation 1) each player selects and receives one set of buildings 2) mix the tiles turned face down, and form them into stacks
The Game The player each round, takes a tile and position it on the table: 1) the tile shall be placed so that the volcano is adjacent to another volcano already placed 2) a tile can be placed on top of other tiles if: a) the volcano is positioned on top of a volcano beneath it b) the tile is fully supported by existing tiles c) the tile is placed so it touch two other tiles below it 3) on forest, field and sand (of that tile ?), it is allowed to place one building: a) a hut b) a temple (one for every two huts (remaining ?)) c) a tower (one for every two huts (remaining ?) and at least on third level) 4) a tile may be placed on huts, but not on two from the same player, and not on temples or towers 5) if a tile can not be placed adjacent to a volcano, because of buildings or lack of space, then the player is allowed to place the tile in another location 6) it is allowed that a new tile placed, has contact only on one of the sides
Game End The game ends when the last tile is placed on the table.
Scoring The scoring is made as follows: • 1 point for each hut placed (and remaining ?) • 2 points for each temple placed • 3 points for each tower placed • 1 point for each level above ground level that a building (hut, temple or tower) is placed • 1 point for each building adjacent to a lake, if adjacent to more than one lake, one gets 1 point for each adjacent lake
