Contains revised Cthulhu and Daoloth (from Arkham Nights 2010), revised Hastur (AN 2011), three custom-made Sinister Plot cards for Daoloth, the Oliver Grayson ally card (Ghouls of the Miskatonic mail-in), and the Dance of the Damned starting rumor Mythos card (Dance of the Damned mail-in).

You don't play around!

I like those permanent san/stam losses. With the thirteen doom track, Cthulhu may not be harder to beat, but the survival ratio won't be as high. With that -6 in FB, he's tough to beat, but a few more minuses will shorten the time to defeat him.

So every time Cthulhu knocks someone out or drives him insane, their max of the appropriate stat is reduced by one and Daoloth are official?

I didn't know either one. Thanks for the info.

Is FF going to eventually offer a pack of the new official investigators and AO or are we to download them here?

I also assume, since it isn't mentioned, that Hastur's complete ability is changed and it now requires only five clues to seal, like all the rest.

I have no idea if there are any plans to release these to the masses, beyond those promotional gimmicks.

Yes, revised Hastur is an interesting one... I describe him by saying that his revised version is both more difficult and less annoying. It took me a little bit to warm up to the fact that his battle modifier is now a flat -5 instead of -X but for mechanics reasons I know why it was done.

There is one last promotional item that nobody has yet.

The first novel of the Dark Waters trilogy has a mail-in offer for the Oliver Grayson card. Similarly, the first novel of The Lord of Nightmares trilogy has a mail-in offer for a "Starting Rumor" card that begins the game in play.

Most of the text of this card has been revealed in a tantalizing article, but there is just barely enough text obscured that the card is not playable until someone owns it.

My copy of the book shall arrive on Monday, and I plan to mail out the slip on Tuesday, but I can't say how long it will take for the card to arrive. The Grayson card said it would take 6 to 8 weeks, but only took about one and a half. So, we'll just wait!

so these GOO cards etc. are official, but not released? Looks like they could have been included in Miskatonic Horror given how much I paid for that box - any idea why not?

Maybe they were intended to be just special releases for the people who attended the Arkham Horror events. I would have liked to see them in Miskatonic too.

One more thought. Is there any news as to whether FF is going to produce an Arkham Encounter card that will allow an investigator to obtain Oliver Grayson? Or is it going to remain specifically through Ma's or one of the investigators who draw a random ally at start?

No news that I know of. I plan to release encounter cards that will allow you to get Grayson, but I need to read all six Arkham novels first (so it will be a while).
