This is a 10-page rules PDF for 'Sid Meier's Civilization: The Boar dGame'. This document covers setup and rules of play, but is not exhaustive or repetitive. It assumes that you have the rulebook for reference. These Quick Rules are based on the 2010 Fantasy Flight edition.

Note that while much of the language has been re-written from the original English rulebook, some parts have been taken verbatim. While this simplified rule-set has been compiled by me to bring further clarity to the rules, the copyright of the rules herein remain with the designers and/or publishers.

Here's the cut list and plans for the foam core storage that I've designed. Pretty much the appeal being that it is an insert that allows you to store all components from the base game plus two expansion into one box.

The critical downside of the current design is that it does add 30mm to the box – meaning that the box top won't go flush to the bottom.

Material Used
The plan assumes that you are using foam core boards with a 5mm thickness.

It is possible to use 6mm thickness boards with some minor modifications and would still house everything perfectly… though it may require some adjustment in how to arrange things.

What to expect in the ZIP file:
- The master cut list and individual plans (top view) in both OpenOffice/LibreOffice and Microsoft Excel format
- Master Sketchup file that I've created in designing the insert

This file lists all of the expanded content within both expansions. Also included is a list of the expanded content grouped together because if you were to add one element, you may need to add another element.

The list is also good to run a 5-player game but may not want to include all of the expansions.

I updated Mike Betzel's PDFs to include everything through Wisdom & Warfare. He created a great player aid and this allows it to be used with both expansions. I laminated this two page JPG into a single two sided reference sheet and use dry erase markers to allow re-use.

This is a 6 player map based on each player's tile being centered on the face of a cube. One generic tile folds over the edges of the cube in each direction from the player tiles. Also one generic tile is on each corner of the cube, folded into a corner shape. The map prints on 48" x 30" sheet allowing the tiles to be placed directing on the map. The numbered triangles indicate which spaces are adjacent to each other. The large arrows show the orientation of the player tiles. The corner tiles each have one unusable quarter that is indicated on the map. There are overlays that go on the tile once reveled that are a separate file. The great person card for Galileo becomes worthless since there are no map edges any longer. An updated one is in a separate file.

This file offers a summary of total part count with the indicated expansion(s) and after card replacement.

Since I owe the English version of the game but played so often with others, I decided to create a German game overview and called it "all you need" because after several games I think those information are the only one to have on a sheet of paper. Some names are in English because they are not short enough to translate, but they are easy to understand.
Fame and Fortune Expansion is included.

Last version (05/2014) in compact format. Thx to Nanokae for the design.

- A main rule about illegal moves.
- A main rule about not being forced to attack and disband (this haves an impact on Communism and Brandenburg Gate).
- Building Cities and Growing Metropolis on Friendly figures (can bring to a disband because no valid square to replace the figures. It's not considered as a "forced to disband" as the player volontary build the City or Grow the Metropolis).
- Communism : the big issue about Communism haves been changed to a "***" point where 2 solutions are proposed. Players just have to accord themselves on the ruling before starting the game.
- Communism : You can target City-center but there are restrictions (cannot be forced to attack or disband).
- Defection : When 2 players want to use a Defection at the same time, both defections works, and so both Armies will be killed.
- Great Person Blockading (found how it really works).
- A lot of new points and issue.
