Description

[Edit] [History]

In this light, beer & pretzels type of game, players are transformed into wizards attempting to collect treasures from a twisted little maze. At the heart of the game is a deck of cards that the players use to cast spells, power-up spells, and augment movement. Each turn, players can move up to three spaces (or more with the use of number cards). However, the goal is to penetrate the other players' sections of the maze, pick up one of their treasures, and bring it back to your home base. The first player to capture two such treasures or kill all the other wizards is the winner.

1 Number Cards - Arcane Circles Theme
Wiz War Magic Numbers.zip
Wiz-war number cards, recreated for an upcoming custom version of the game I am making. Basically, I'm trying to make an ultra-swanky board layout (yay HirstArts!), and figured that I should have cards to match. This is the first of (hopefully) many releases over the coming months. The cards are provided in both QuickCards format (from www.plaincards.com) as well as a general-purpose PDF file. Note: While the design/layout of these cards was done by myself (Malfeis), the credit for the magic circles that you see in the card art were created by readheadstock from http://www.brushes.obsidiandawn.com/ - mad props for these. For QuickCards printing: Pages 1-4 are card fronts (numbers) only, 5-8 are the backs. Naturally, if you wanted to print one complete set of cards, print the first four pages first, re-insert them into the printer, then print the last four pages. I would recommend using the "normal" quality setting on most inkjet printers, as the card back uses very dark colors which tend to bleed... PDF Printing - Similar to above, pages 1-4 are the card fronts (numbers), page 5 is the art for the card backing. For samples: http://www.cardboardlust.com/wizwar/
