It has been requested that the subjects of this report, Meeples (homo woodmanus) be investigated as part of a dual-purpose mission:
1) Gather as much intelligence about this little-known species as possible
2) Determine if the species represents a clear and present threat to our safety and stability

Agents have been sent into the field to investigate the subjects. This list represents a summary of their findings.

Despite evidence to the contrary (much archaeological evidence places the Meeples in prehistoric or Medieval times), it is clear that the Meeples were an industrial people. Not only were they able to construct houses along existing power lines criss-crossing the North American and European continents, but they also were able to extract fuel from natural resources in the Earth (see the evidence of coal, oil, and nuclear fuel in the background).

This photograph also illustrates that the Meeples were conscious of their effect on the environment, as they also converted their own garbage to fuel these power plants.

Certain Meeple workers (as denoted by headgear) are designated protectors, keeping Meeple eggs (if that is, indeed, what they are) safe from other, shadowy Meeples who seem to want to do them harm. These Protecteeples have learned to use short wooden fences to keep ne're-do-weeples from getting to their charges. It seems that, while Meeples are generally acrobatic, they lack the knees required to hop short obstacles.

It is believed that after the eggs hatch, the Meeples are in an adolescent stage (homo wooddiscus). These teenaged Meeples are taken out to the countryside on large-scale field trips to learn about the lands they will most likely grow up to tend (once they have sprouted legs and appropriate head gear). They also view large statues erected to honour the Meeples of the noble, ruling class.

The primitive swarming tactics that Meeples now adopt in war has led some to conclude that they have always been a less advanced species. But recent evidence suggests that the Meeples were only reduced to this state after a nuclear holocaust wiped out most vestiges of their former civilization.

This race of meeples seems to have developed an unusual system of mathematics. The conversion table at the upper left has not yet been deciphered, and we can only guess why they use pictorial symbols for certain numerals. The headgear is distinctive and adds further proof to the "headgear = race" theory. It appears these meeples like to have short stools available for seating, although none have actually been photographed sitting on one.

One rogue theory is that this is in fact the likeness of the first Meeple Emporer "Caeser Meepgustus"

This is possibly the most documented evidence of 'the great red' to date, however expert analysis indicate this photograph to be a hoax, utilising trick photography to enhance the meeples actual size.

RECREATION - Theatre, Musical or otherwise.

Meeples need to relax, and when they do they like to see a show. Some meeples have rhythm and some do not. The ones on the right obviously have rhythm and the ones on the left do not. The ones on the right are performing something out of "A Chorus Line" the ones on the left are performing a quality show, but one that does not involve singing or dancing.
