This is the traditional weekly thrift and bargain finds list.
These lists may start empty, but as always, add your items.
Put in what you consider a bargain, tell us how much you paid and the place you got it from. Bargains can be thrift store finds or any second-hand purchases or discounted boardgames bought new. Don't forget to add your encounters with the Thrift Store Irritant Squad and any other embellishments in order to make it even more interesting.
The Thrift Store/Bargain Finds List Wayback Machine: The Grand Vizier is maintaining a list of all the weekly lists through time. He is also adding stats and interesting tidbits for us thrifty geeks. Your Thrift Store Bargain Finds Through Time (with links to all previous lists)

Our GeekGuild: Welcome to The Ancient and Loyal Order of Thrifters. Enter the halls of thriftdom at your own risk. Please do mind the stacks of prized games, do not mention the musty smell and try not to sneeze. Make sure to bow before our King HakFoo I, and pay your due respects to previous Kings belial1134, Great_Mazinga, minionhunter, Krazygit, EvilTimmy and Blackwind.
The Order's Anthem: Sing along with our good old thrifty theme song...
... but when we are talking about real games, this was one of the games that really shocked me... I'd played this a long time ago and I really liked it, so this is going to be a blast, I'm sure....
The only one of these I ever found consisted of the box only. Now I wanna be as hip as the rest of my thrifting compadres here, but I draw the line at buying an empty box.
... when I saw this I was very excited! I played Sphinx (not the exact same game, but almost) and really liked it. Sadly, when I opened the box (at home) I realized that there was just the board and no pieces ...
Beautiful condition 1963 Skittles board from Carrom, with instructions, all original pins and two tops. Possibly original string too. Far too nice to pass up, even if it'll be a pain if I ever shipped it out.
All marbles present, but the box and inner cardboard are a bit of a mess. Board in great shape though. Apparently, I can tell from the pen marks, this one was owned by Alex.

The droog? Might explain some of the ultraviolence done to the box and its innards.
... I'm not going to bore you more, so I finally bought 45 games (most of them complete) for just US 60. If you considerate that here in Chile is almost impossible to find board games, this is just a WIN-WIN.
Edit:
Games that I forgot to mention:
- Family Business (complete) - Mickey Mouse Yahtzee (complete) - Masterpiece (complete) - The Inventors (complete) - Mastermind (haven't inventoried yet)
$0.65 at Salvation Army. Could be a fun filler. All the dice are there, along with plenty of cards. The instructions in the box were printed out from the Jax website.
