Welcome to the Semifinals for the Derk Cup!

The final four. Can Chvátil make it to the championship for the first time? Will Knizia or Kramer get a chance to win a second Derk Cup? Will Wallace get a chance to avenge his loss last year? Your votes will decide who we will see in the final.

And for good measure, there is a quarterfinalist placement vote as well. This second poll is just for fun to determine the order that the designers will be listed in the final results geeklist. These votes will not count toward anything official so don't take this one too seriously.

The Semifinals end on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 12:00 am (BGG time).

The Derk Cup is awarded each year to our favorite designer. In celebration of the minds behind the games, 64 designers (or design teams) face off in a head to head, bracketed, single elimination tournament.

How the Tournament Works:
There is a poll for each pairing. The poll will last for around four days. The designer with the most votes when the poll closes will move on to fight another day. The last designer standing will be the recipient of the prestigious 2012 Derk Cup.
