My wife loves Coloretto and I was looking for ways to add a little variety when I came across a free expansion for it. I know that there are multiple lists regarding print and play games, but I couldn't find one that's limited to expansions (but go ahead and add the link if there is one).

So, which games have free expansions that you can print and make yourself? Are they any good? What do they add to the game?

By the way, although I've lurked here on BGG for almost 2 years now, this is my first Geeklist (so be gentle).

Jungle Zombie is free print and play expansion for Tikal.
It does "expand" Tikal, however it mostly modifies the game.
zombie The explores can be transformed in zombies and kill the other players.
I made this expansion in order to add chaos and violence to perfectly balanced and peaceful game.
I do like Tikal a lot the way the game is but everything can be better adding zombies zombie zombie.

perhaps a linkage to where these can be downloaded might make this a more useful list...

i realize that they can probably be downloaded from their BGG sections, but still...

Ben,

Like Caleb said, you can put the cards in protective sleeves. However, for a lot of the expansions it doesn't matter if the cards look different. The "official" Mystery Train expansion cards already have a different back, so it doesn't matter if you make homemade cards. The Coloretto expansions don't get shuffled into the deck, so it doesn't matter if they are different. Even the High Noon cards don't really make that much of a difference (we always play with the deck face up with only the top card showing).

Hazienda (Hacienda) has a map generating program. Easy to use and a great addition to the game.

The MTG card editor at http://mtglair.de/editor.shtml also seems to have been the source of a few player-made expansions, though the site seems somewhat inaccessible right now.
