This is the traditional weekly thrift and bargain finds list.
These lists may start empty but as always: add your items.
Put in what you consider a bargain, tell us how much you paid and the place you got it from. Bargains can be thrift store finds or any second-hand purchases or discounted boardgames bought new. Don't forget to add your encounters with the Thrift Store Irritant Squad™, the Tape Monkeys™, and any other embellishments in order to make it even more interesting.

A really unfortunate name and box art for something with such good components and box quality. Oh well. $2.50 at Amvets in Midtown, complete and bagged to boot..
Edit: I ended up playing the game during lunch at work today, I like to keep abstracts here to play with co workers. Turns out to be a pretty fun game, a lot of depth that sneaks up on you. Shame it has such a ridiculous name though, how do you even pronounce the double "g"?
Overhead Manipulatives Kit - $1.99, contains Algebra tiles, tangrams, geoboard w/rubber bands, spinner and pattern blocks, looks like new, not sure if all pieces are here, tiles are clear colored plastic.
Should be able to use them for prototypes and homemade games
Walked into Habitat just in time to see someone pick this up. I walked an aisle over. As soon as I saw him reach to put it back I hurried over. Snagged the second it was out of his hand. Destined for that auction site completeness TBD Habitat thrift $0.50
I really don't know how some of you risk taking pics of your thrift shelves before you've plundered them - I'm too nervous there's someone like me ready to swoop.
Complete - one of the nicest copies of this I've found yet
Blokus is one of those games I really wanted to get along time ago, then I just sort of lost interest in it for no particular reason. But, figured if I ever came across a really nice, cheap copy I would likely pick it up. Well, in all my thrifting I've yet to actually find a for reals Blokus, but did find this today for $3 at Speedway Outlet, which is likely better since it will take up significantly less space. It was conveniently tape-free so I popped it open and was happy to see all the translucent little bits still snug in their unopened baggies.
Sheesh. If it weren't for Mike Heine's find of a Deluxe Edition Confrontation I'd think the Mpls metro had completely dried up. I got this complete Qwirkle (with bag) for $1.69 at VV and tipped my cap to Mr. Pony. This one is destined for the gift pile.
