This is the traditional weekly thrift and bargain finds list.
These lists may start empty but as always, add your items.
Put in what you consider a bargain, tell us how much you paid and the place you got it from. Bargains can be thrift store finds or any second-hand purchases or discounted boardgames bought new. Don't forget to add your encounters with the Thrift Store Irritant Squad™, the Tape Monkeys™, and any other embellishments in order to make it even more interesting.
The Weekly Thrift List Wayback Machine The Grand Vizier is maintaining a list of all the weekly thrift lists through time, and will be adding stats and interesting tidbits for each week. Your Thrift Store Bargain Finds Through Time

on the shelf with the vases, fancy plates, candles, etc sat a round poker chip rack, with a plastic bag full of chips taped a zillion times to the top of the rack (cause it would be too much trouble to actually, uhh, put them IN the rack... $10? outrageous! wait, they're so heavy, yup - clay chips. oh, yeah, this should count as a game... the manager had to come approve it, but I got 200 clay poker chips for $5
Picked this one up at the GWO. Normally a game would only cost about $1 due to payment by weight but this one cost $3 because of the 5 1/2 lbs of cards and boats inside. Box shoes a little wear on the corners and edges but the contents look like they have never been touched.
$4 at Goodwill Select and amazingly, not a piece of tape on it... someone in the back showed some respect. of course, the ring is missing I'll look for somewhere to buy one. I personally do not like Risk, but it will make great trading fodder.
This looks like a lot of fun. I've just read up on it and discovered that the cards are getting hard to find. well, I hope to find more. This cost 99 cents. Looks like a complete set. The original owners took very good care of this one.
I told myself that one Go would be enough but I could not leave this one behind. Found a Peg Travel Go Game by Drueke with a beautiful hardwood board for $2.99 at GW. Will upload version and pictures to database.
I found the 1983 suntex version like the one pictured. Mine is missing the top left sleeve of the game but has everything else including the bidding tokens, score cards, and instructions. I have 3 sealed decks of cards which I am hoping is a complete game. Is this complete?
