This is the traditional weekly thrift and bargain finds list.
These lists may start empty, but as always, add your items.
Put in what you consider a bargain, tell us how much you paid and the place you got it from. Bargains can be thrift store finds or any second-hand purchases or discounted boardgames bought new. Don't forget to add your encounters with the Thrift Store Irritant Squad and any other embellishments in order to make it even more interesting.

Our GeekGuild: Welcome to The Ancient and Loyal Order of Thrifters. Enter the halls of thriftdom at your own risk. Please do mind the stacks of prized games, do not mention the musty smell and try not to sneeze. Make sure to bow before our King Hakfoo I, and pay your due respects to previous Kings Belial, Great_Mazinga, minionhunter, Krazygit, EvilTimmy and Blackwind.

Found several bags at VV (27 to be exact) each with 50 or so cards in them, they were asking 3.99 per a bag, I asked what they would do for me if I bought all the bags not knowing their exact contents.
I was told I could pay .99 per bag, which I agreed to then pulled out my punched card for 30% off paying $20 for around 1300 Magic cards, still not fully inventoried oldest card seen was from the Dark expansion though most were much newer. No land.
So, asking price was $128 paid price was $20, even if they are all commons I'm still proud of myself.
I'm not sure which surprised me more - finding this at Savers for $2.25, in excellent shape with one color of chits unpunched and the rest in the tray... Or seeing that the $19.99 Heroscape Master Set: Rise of the Valkyrie (missing everything except some of the terrain) had sold.
I guess Imperium is more surprising, since people will buy anything.
This is definitely up for sale or trade if anyone's interested. Not something I'm likely to play. Will do a full chit-count later but it looks great.
Unplayed - the cards are unwrapped, but the victory point tokens are unpunched. $2.95 at the Mile High Thrift Store I need to hit this store more often. they frequently have decent games, but they are expensive on anything non-boardgame, and they only take cash.
.69 cents at thrift town. complete box version with blue/red stones. Box looks like hell but board and stones are perfect. the first copy I got was the tube version which i really like the mat but not the color stones. Gonna combine these too and use board just as backup.
My last stop was goodwill and found the travel scrabble folio edition for $4.95. I had already found the regular version for $2 couple weeks ago at another thrift store but you can never have too many copies of the same game right? plus its a travel edition....

Searching the shelves at Value Village and crouching down to get at the crap down low, I spotted a little Asmodée logo on the corner of a box. Jackpot! Pushed the other stuff away and got my hands on Mission: Red Planet!!! The game is absolutely complete and has only slight wear: really nice condition. $3.99.
As I already own this, I happily offer it up for trade.
