This is the traditional weekly thrift and bargain finds list.
These lists may start empty but as always: add your items.
Put in what you consider a bargain, tell us how much you paid, and the place you got it from. Bargains can be thrift-store finds or any second-hand purchases or discounted boardgames bought new. Don't forget to add your encounters with the Thrift Store Irritant Squad™, the Tape Monkeys™, and any other embellishments in order to make it even more interesting.
The Weekly Thrift List Wayback Machine The Grand Vizier is maintaining a list of all the weekly thrift lists through time, and will be adding stats and interesting tidbits for each week. Your Thrift Store Bargain Finds Through Time

Happened to have the car today so went to Goodwill over lunch today. Not much of anything there, but found a brand new set of double six color dot dominoes - contents in shrink - for just $.99 This set includes the starter piece and rules for about a dozen different games. These will probably go to my co-worker's granddaughter who is learning counting and colors.
After work I headed over to St. Vincent. The deluxe travel edition Scrabble with the wood cubes is there, and as of this afternoon, it's complete. But it seems the original price tag came off (they don't stick well to the textured plastic) and they repriced it at $4.99 Ouch!
I saw a big tube of Pogs - they seem to be all over lately. Then I noticed this smaller container. Inside was a collection of slammers. I know they don't have much value, but they sure look cool. There was no price on them - and when I asked they shrugged and said "59 cents?" Sure, these should work well as paperweights on the various piles of "to do" on my desk.
I've passed on this game, as well as Two Player Brick by Brick lately at Goodwill. Couldn't bring myself to spend $3.99 or more on them. Today at St. Vincent I found the game - no rules, no bag, no box - but all the blocks and the cards - for $.99 That's more like it.
