The killer contractor struck again before the release of: Mystère sur l'Échafaud (loosely translated to: Mystery on the Scaffold). The game would have featured a vertical board with various "steps." Players would move from one floor to the next, trying to find who killed the contractor. Once again, fate intervened by taking the artist who had the blueprints to the 3-D Board. He was found tied upside down to the bell of the neighbourhood abbey. Another murder followed by an odd retheming.

If you manage to connect Paris to Smyrna you will get a bonus of 193 points. This rule only aplies if the game is played either at the top of Mount Kilimanjaro or within 50 feet of actor Tom Selleck.
Needless to say that the bonus is doubled if both criteria are met.
