The Dutch publisher 999 Games recently published "De Kolonisten van Catan: Zes Scenario's", an expansion containing six new scenario's for Settlers (combined with Seafarers). This list is meant to link the entries for those scenarios together.

Each expansion contains a few (very few) additions to the game. If you buy all six scenarios, you can get a seventh scenario (The Settlers of Catan: The Fishermen of Catan) for free.

This seems to be the first items from the Catan family that haven't been published in Germany before coming to the Netherlands. However, these scenario's have been published before in Die Siedler von Catan: Das Buch zum Spielen or the Catan News, so they are not as new as they seem.

The Diamonds
This scenario has several small islands with neutral villages on them. Players have to build trade routes from their villages to the island villages. If they succeed in building one, they will get a diamond everytime the neutral island is "hit" by the dice. Every two diamonds are worth one point.

The game can end before anyone has reached the goal; when most of the diamonds have been collected, the game is over as well.

Contents: Rules, 50 plastic Diamonds, 4 Beach tiles, 8 dice (so each player has his own)
