Pulled from production for fixing and revising, and will be returning in 2007. The cards in the new English edition are supposed to be more readable than in the original German edition, which featured teeny tiny icons.

Another game that didn't make it out in 2006; this time an area control game that utilizes a drafting mechanic (a la MtG and Fairy Tale) instead of drawing cards from the side or selecting from a constant set of cards in your hand. Drafting would seem to be a good compromise between the two usual mechanics.

In English would be nice---something that draws a bit of the mechanics from Caylus, takes less time, and is a bit more accessible with a less steep learning curve.
I hope the English Mayfair edition will be nice---they did an OK job with Shear Panic, keeping the original sheep and adding nice wooden bases, but Pillars of the Earth will be rather more involved. I hope it doesn't turn out like Modern Art did.

Coming out in English, finally.
I'm a sucker for anything Dungeon Twister! More characters and rooms are always welcome, and I hope there are extra scenarios, but it's OK if there aren't---the basic scenario is more than replayable enough.

Yet another Arkham Horror expansion, I believe another small one. Hopefully it can be incorporated without bulking out the base game too much, and that Arkham Horror doesn't start going down the path of Runebound and its 4-inch high Market Deck.

There are always Waves released (in very quick succession), and I'm hoping for more terrain this year, though darned if I know where I'll store it all. Oh, and also that all the other factions get seriously bumped in terms of more figures, and Utgar gets less or, perhaps, no figures, although the latter is probably not going to happen. And Einar needs a dragon. Or an elephant. Some big critter.
The release schedule is fortunately not every month, so the chances of it intersecting too much with BattleLore expansions are slim but definitely not zero.

Another Dungeon Twister expansion released in English, this time scheduled far in the future for September 2007. I await it with baited breath nontheless.

NEW VERSION OF TALISMAN!
Released through Black Industries, scheduled for October, 2007 release.
From the site, http://www.blackindustries.com/?template=BI&content=talisman...
Talisman is a cult fantasy board game for 2 – 6 people. Players control a myriad of characters from a heroic warrior to a powerful sorcerer. In this perilous adventure, play centres around the journey of these gallant heroes to find and claim the Crown of Command, a magical artefact with the power to destroy all rivals and make the bearer the true ruler of the kingdom. Only with strength, courage, and wisdom will players be able to survive the ultimate test and beat their opponents to victory.
Talisman’s enduring appeal is that of a traditional fantasy boardgame and more. Players soon find themselves taking part in an epic quest of brave deeds, daring encounters and death defying battles, which deepens as the game unfolds.
First released in 1983, the game continues to excite and maintains a strong following with a thriving Internet community. The new edition of Talisman will appeal to fans of the timeless original, and will also create a new following of would be adventurers.
Marc Gascoigne, Head of Black Industries, said, “This is the best edition of Talisman we have ever produced. It’s the return of a genuine classic fantasy game, and I’m proud to be announcing its comeback. The gameplay is based on the very best aspects of the previous editions, but with added extras such as the all new speedy play rules written by the legendary Rick Priestley. The game looks fantastic, with fabulous new artwork. I know fans old and new will love this edition.”
If you want to know more about the release of this long awaited new edition then visit www.blackindustries.com or e-mail enquiries@blpublishing.com for more information.

From Kevin Nesbitt (Jan 17, 2007)
I'm very excited to announce to the BGG community that Valley Games will be reprinting Hannibal: Rome vs. Carthage!
Okay, everyone take a breath and read on....
We will be placing this game up for preorder on our "750 Special" program before the end of the month, however, it is NOT available for preorder at the time of this announcement. It will be available very soon though, so keep an eye on our site!
Some basic information about the reprint: We have elected to keep the reprint very close to the original, which INCLUDES keeping the mapboard hard mounted (i.e. NOT a paper map). There will be some upgrading of the artwork, but the rules will be nearly identical to the 2nd edition of the rules from the original.
In a very short while, we will be revealing our "750 Special" bonus for preorder customers, and we think you will be very pleased! I will also be filling in details, and answering your questions here on this thread whenever possible.
As for a release date, that is entirely up to you, the gamers. Our 750 Special program puts the games that gamers want into your hands based on your preorder support. The game will retail for $64.95 USD, which means that our preorder customers will get it for $45.47, a 30% discount. Again, while preorders are not open yet, you'll want to be sure to keep an eye on our site.
It is important to note that we have a new preorder system that ensures that credit cards are not charged until such a time that we go to print.
We're absolutely thrilled to bring this game to you, our gaming friends. This effort to bring Hannibal back into print started out as daydream, and slowly became reality with a lot of emails, phone calls, and detective work. We are committed to bringing you games that you will love to play, and we hope that this announcement demonstrates that commitment.

Given that CC:E has already hit 5 plays (in a month), I'm hoping to see lots more. More scenarios, more modules, more!

I'm looking forward to this one. The components are really nice, the board is beautiful, let's hope the game will be just as good, also for 2 players.

OK, it's been mentioned a couple times in the comments, and I'd -love- to see a (cheaper) reprint.
Keeping my fingers crossed!

Age of Conan - from the designers of War of the Ring - is easily my most highly anticipated game of 2007! I just wish we had a few more details to sink our teeth into.

This conflict has always held a fascination for me, and I'm hoping this game will have the right balance of playablity and "chrome", with a short enough playing time to get it to the table.
I just don't have the time for "Triumph of Chaos" (though I wish I did). And "Reds!" can drag a bit, even though it's much less complex.
The only thing worrying me is that Avalanche has been known to release games that somewhat less than finished, though they usually support them pretty well. Fingers firmly crossed.

I liked the concept of the Anno 1701 PC game that this is based on. I have also seen that I like what I have seen about Anno 1503 that is in the same series, at least it was in the PC games.
