Storage Boxes and Organizers: How to organize all that gaming stuff of my favourite game?
-
Well, you all know the problem of organizing your gaming pieces. Especially at FFGs products you often get a big box with lots of pieces and cool stuff - but how to seperate them all to play fast forward without searching the whole game for pieces you do need now?
So, this is a geeklist that shall show you all the possibilities to store your gaming pieces in such a way that you have a fast accessability during gaming. What are your ideas of storing those little plastic pieces, wooden blocks and paper chits and counters?
Search the data base of BGG for all the pictures where people show us how they store these pieces and add those pictures to this geeklist! Don´t post storage boxes from game publishers - instead post alternative ways of storing those pieces in organizers, working boxes, self-made boxes etc.
Perhaps it will really help some of us

One of my favourites in my collection. Railroad Tycoon from EagleGames ist one of those games that really needs some sort of organizer. And when I purchased these boxes for my FFG-games I had one more to store RT too.

Return of the heroes and markers / gaming pieces from the base game and both big box expansions for fast access.

A little but definite adequate storage solution for the great Rise and Declince of the Third Reich.

I don´t know that game but it seems to have MANY paper counters...

-

-
Runebound, another one classic to use storage boxes

-
My personal solution. You really need two organizers, but this way you have enough room to store additional expansions as well.

Yeah, one of the most famous games can´t be left aside.

My personal solution. Fits very well and there is plenty of room for expansions.

Seems not to be the original game box - and if it´s self-made this one is really well done! Surely one game I will hunt for... and then copy this solution.

My personal solution for Small World. Beside the fact that the game comes with an interesting box insert that is well done compared to other board games, I do not like it because you cannot see what race is in which storage compartment. With this organizer you can see them very well and don't search for the right one. It's for sure one of the few games this storage solution isn't necessary (well done!), but I like it a bit more.

The storage solution of Sniper 2nd edition.

-
My personal solution for Space Alert. Much room for future expansions - which will come, I´m sure. That´s such an enjoyable game that really is MADE for expansions

My personal solution for storing those wooden cubes seperated from each other.

As user "Jim Krohn" says, there are three more organizers like that for the other colors as well as this one for the informational counters:

Small craft storage in a Plano Case (Model#5324 as it states the owner)

My personal solution for Stone Age. Fits all very well.

Works very well with the Stanley organizer.

My personal solution for Supernova.

I want to replace the paper chits with wooden cubes, like they are used in "Rückkehr der Helden / Return of the Heroes" for better handling. The paper chits are very annoying
But with the wooden cubes that game will really be fun. Well, at least then I will need this organizer.

-
My personal solution for Talisman in it´s 4th edition. Plenty of room for future expansions - and the reaper one will get into that organizer as well when I can get my hands on it...
-
-

-
The organizer is beginning to fill: base game plus reaper expansion plus frostmarch expansion

Board Game: Tempus

My solution for Tempus - fits really well!

My personal solution for TTR - here are stored: TTR: Europe, TTR: Scandinavia and TTR:Märklin.

My personal solution for Tide of Iron. Enough room to re-organize when Days of the Fox arives on the shelves. The minis are stored that way:

But there they cost 6 Euro - a bit more than they would do on eBay. But the quality is allright, so I ordered some more.
