My mum likes gardening. She also enjoys Boardgaming. So Ill try to combine the two and find her games, where she could use her "green thumb" in games

The first one we had (when I was a kid). Still one of the best simulations of a garden year, but unfortuntly just a simple roll & move.

This is one she really enjoys - very nice graphics and some mechanism provide flavour. But its very light and the scoring at the end is quite mathematical..

This is a fun game, but its apart from the graphics its not very thematic.

Picked this up cheap. Nice board & artwork,m but very luck-dependand, monopoly-style of game.

We all enhoy it, but of course its an abstract with garden-artwork

This is a bidding-game which my mom doesnt like. Furthermore the garden is already finished on the board, so its not really gardening, but an abstract mechanism.
Good game though.

Now for the games I havent bought and/or played.
This is a classic kids game, and I doubt its what "gardeners" are looking for...

This one would interest me: It certainly looks good. But I havent herad much of it yet, apart that there seems to be some rules problems.
Is it a true garden game or an abstract?

OK, Ok, This is more farming than gardening, but I suspect there is enough gardening in there. And its Doris + Frank! Im keeping my eyes open for this.

This is getting some good buzz, but how to get it in Germany?

This is not realy a "garden" -game, just a memory-game with a garden-theme (or a "weeding game" to be more precise)

This game is fokusing on a different side of gardeing: getting rid of a mole! Its a nice game, but actually an abstarct game...

Tile laying goodness where you have to remove bugs (snails/slugs?) via bullfrogs and 'grow' more (straw) berries than bugs/snails. Suprisingly good for what it is and teaches 'essential'
life game skills used in Carcassonne and others.

It's more abstract, but your mother might get a kick out of it nonetheless. A pretty good game.
