I was lucky, it was priced at 10 euros and I was looking at it (I like Faiduti) but in the end I put it back. The female shopkeeper saw that it caught my eye and she gave it to me as a present because I already purchased 3 other games in that booth. Naturally I was happy with her decission.

I have seen this one for 15euro at hall 6.

It's incredible how low the prices can go at Essen. At 20 euros I still got a pretty good deal, I guess I should look around better next year.

This is a wonderful game.

There are many great things about it, but one of the best is that you never know who's won until the points are totted at the end. It's always tight and it's very hard to see before then - this really makes it tense and hard to leader bash.

Don't be too sure. It's a light, light, light game, and it's fairly uninteresting. In one of the games I played, all the good cards came out in one column, effectively breaking the game.

I've tried this in the meantime and I don't think it deserves it's bad reputation. Sure it's light, short and lacks depth but hey it's just a filler and a very good filler. And it doesn't break the game if your good cards (those will be different for every player btw) fall into 1 collumn, U will just have to adjust your strategy to that situation.

I also bought it because I'm also a movie-buff (and my friend already bought Bad Hollywood). Didn't play it yet, but the graphics are already a big disappointment.

On official wesbite www.warangel.it find deep descriptions of BOL (and any of my home made games)and the complete rules in English fixed by Rick Partin. The core of the game is to create and propose new rules while playing the game, if majority of players around the table accept, you play that way.
A lot of children, mums, families, gamers had fun with this idea.

Ciao Angelo, I'm glad that Essen was a good fair for you. I realize that it's extremely difficult for a small publisher to get exposure with so much competition out there. And off course you didn't force us to play but regarding my comments on BOL: I hope it didn't offend you as this was not my intention. It might be a good game for children but not for people who are into gamers games I guess and roll and move games are a bit something of the past. Enthusiasm is a good thing, it helps to increase your sales.
