I love cows. I really do. They're amazing animals that have really had a large impact on the human race. I've spent my fair share of time on a dairy farm and I've milked plenty of heifers. I have a huge amount of respect for them.

But more than that I find them to be really cute. They're big and tough, but they have a softness to their spirits. They're really gentle creatures and all they really want to do is eat grass.

This GL is for games with cows either in the game, on the box, on the board...whatever. If the game has anything to do with cows, list it here.

Cosmic Cows is a really neat game. Its like Yahtzee, but it actually has strategy, tactics, and player interaction. Playtime is quick and the game is light and fun.

The coolest thing about the game is the bits. I love the little plastic cows. There are a lot of really neat pics in the gallery of the cow pieces which show how cute they are.

Okay, so its a bull and not a cow. You know what the difference is?

At any rate, its a bovine animal and the game's theme is built around it. Not nearly as cute as the Cosmic Cows, but the artwork is pretty cool nonetheless.

Did you watch the mythbusters which showed that bulls are actually rather careful in a china shop?

These little surf cows may be even cuter than their Cosmic cousins.

They may have renamed it, but they kept the cows in the English version:

This game is great. Best auction game, IMO.

A very cow-intensive game.

A long-time favorite of mine.

One interesting note: The cards representing the "pastures" where the little cardboard cows go are two-sided. You can either have your cows milling about sort of organically, or you can turn the card over and have them line up in straight rows sort of regimentally.

And the two-sided boards are one of the best tests of left brain/right brain sensibilities. I always want to play with the lined up boards, because it makes it much easier to see how everyone is doing. No one ever agrees! They all like the hodge-podge boards!

That's okay. When I'm King of the World and the inevitable executions are carried out, I'll make sure all the victims are lined up in nice straight rows as they await the firing squads. Bwa-ha-ha!!!

This version has cowples. The later version has plastic cows, which are nice, but this edition is a better game.

Many games have cows, and some games have bulls, but how many have bull semen? I have not made an exhaustive study, but I would surmise that there are very few. This might be the only one, in fact.
