If you are a fan of either Weezer of the internet, you've probably seen by now Weezer's epic video for Pork And Beans. And if not, here you are:
Personally, I love the concept. And yes, I know similar things have been done by others like BareNaked Ladies, but to actually get all these people who are in the second hour of their fifteen minutes of fame together to recreate their bits live... it is so very Weezer of them.
Anyhow, the more I looked, the more I realized I didn't know a lot of the videos. I knew some of them, but for Weezer to have gone out of their way to bring these people together, it must have been big on some level at some point, and I just missed it. So here are the YouTube clips, as best as I can compile, and what I'd like is for people to thumb-up the ones they've seen previous to this. I'd just like some sort of indication of how far behind the curve I am on some of these.
And by all means, if you see clips that I've missed and you recognize, please add them on.
I feel so knowledgeable whenever I mention this one. It's near the end, dancing in the foreground for a second or two. I only know what it is because my own motion capture instructor made a point to show it to the class.
