It's time for another game ... How well do you know your game rules? Go on, have a go. You know you want to.

With bggcon about to start, I figure it's time for another GeekList game.
This one is more challenging (maybe ... some of that last lot were pretty tough) but is another "chain game".
Each new item posted should quote part of the rules to a game.
The next item should show the game that the previous item's rule belonged to, and then quote a new rule.
If there is a dispute, the person who posted the quote can adjudicate. Or I can.
Please, when you post an entry, keep an eye on the answers or questions that may be posted. And if no-one has it within a reasonable time, try posting another one.
Once again, there will be microbadges. This time, I know how to do them en masse so I won't have to do them all individually. That will save a heap of time.
The question is, though, whether I should get a new Microbadge for this game or just re-use the old one. I tend to think we should get a new one so if any kind soul wants to donate their Mad Microbadge Skillz that would be much appreciated.

OK, I'll try this one...
Quote: The players are awarded points according to the values of their score cards and according to the number of their smallest tribe of people.
Hmmm... perhaps this will help...
Quote: If there is a discard pile with people cards, then a player may also select a card from this face-up pile instead of a culture card.

That one was tougher than woodpecker lips.
Hope this one is a challenge:
Quote: If the fox stands on the field with the fox hole, then the players no longer have the liberty of even one more error. Everybody take a deep breath. I will be gone for about an hour. Here is a further clue:
Quote: Because the next time the fox has to be withdrawn because the players did not solve a task, then the fox disappears from the game board into its underground home... Sorry about the time-out -- an unexpected obligation.
Quote: ... into its underground home and cannot any longer be overtaken by __________. If this happens, all players together have lost, because they did not succeed in taming the fox. It does not matter how many stars the players still have lying in front of themselves.
One more after this before I head home. And I admit, this one cannot be searched for or discovered. Because unless you own or otherwise personally know the game, it must be inferred. But, with the information thus provided, it can now be inferred.
Quote: • Can you guess the secret desires of your fellow players? • Do you see the magic behind the obvious things? • Can you draw the favorite hiding place of your childhood? By the fulfillment of different tasks ______ travels from Planet to Planet and as reward the players may set stars in the sky.

Should be enough clues there I think ...

Yay! Go me!
Quote: My personal favorite line of text in the rules to this particular game is "GOAL OF THE GAME: VICTORY"
And because this is probably too vague, another.
Quote: Faced with the front facade, which gives to the Rolling Sidewalk, stands the Autowarrior Statue, a Herculean sculpture made of vanadium which represents an autowarrior with his plastiarmour and his helmet in hand. With a capacity for 385000 spectators, those are separated from the Arena by a moat of water and a plast-steel fence along it.
The configuration of the arena varies according to the spectacle being offered: The Battle Motor League, the Struggles of Cybeasts, Omegarock concerts or Ultraball matches are only part of the usual programming of this futuristic Coliseum.

! Nailed it with the Teapot. The third clue came in just as I was posting the answer.
Quote: According to the number of players and the card, three to seven tables can be free. The number in the middle of the tables indicates the number of publicity points which a player obtains for his pawn at the time of an evaluation. Strangely, I just noted that these rules are not on the geek. I will try to rectify this soon. No pictures either? No way! Is that possible? ... Whoa, this one may be way harder than I thought. Looks like the only rules set that is currently available anywhere on the net is in French, although it is a German game. The game description describes it as "One of ________'s better games", though it has vanishingly few ratings. One web site says, paraphrasing, [I feel that if _______ had been made by a fashionable publisher, the gaming world would be pontificating]
I translated this from the French a couple years ago, and then forgot about it. I was still in the process of putting final touches on the layout, but other things got in the way.
So, I'll give great big clues for a short while, and if nobody gets it after a few, or if Melissa decides to disqualify me, I'll give it up as too obscure. Here's the next one:
Quote: Actions ... * Contact * / Goto Guy * / Special VIP * The card "Contact" makes it possible to exchange the places of pawns. Only the pawns being on luxury locations can be affected by this card. Pawns on the paths or the home locations cannot be exchanged. ... * Helicopter / Helicopter / Meeting * The helicopter makes it possible for the player to move one of his pawns from one location to another. As with the card "Contact", the pawn cannot be on a path or a home location. ...
OK, herewith, the entire description of game play:
Quote: Game play Each player represents a group of social climbers who try to obtain the best places possible for its members in the nearby elite restaurant, The “_______”, located at the middle of the gameboard. As soon as all of the free tables in the “_______” are occupied, the players carry out an evaluation of the victory points which represent the amount of publicity obtained by each group of socialites. The game ends as soon as a player reaches the highest step of the publicity stairs or at the latest after the seventh evaluation. The player who has the most publicity points wins. I see that a copy of the game is currently for sale on http://cgi.ebay.at -- where is *.at? Oh wait, Österreich!
Next, perhaps last, clue -- the complete game description (not on bgg, btw) {Update -- it is now!}:
Quote: The Game of Appearance and Reality The “400”, the “glitterati”, the “beautiful people” and the “VIP’s”. Who wouldn’t want to be part of their world of luxury, glamour and glitz… However, we can’t all belong to it. The road to the top leads through the best tables at the “_______”! The super-luxury-IN-temple in the center of the city. “The” restaurant. Those seen there may rightfully count themselves among “High Society”. But in order to reach your goal must you keep your adversaries at bay. By use of "Scandals", "Rumors", "Contacts" and many other actions you are trying to climb the social ladder while trying to put a spike in the wheel of your opponents. Lucky for you that having a "Bodyguard" handy just might save you from just about everything. And don't despair. Those who are IN today may be "Total OUT" tomorrow!
