This is a list of PRIZES awarded in this year of our common era 2008. Up to and including those awards that are given in this year but are nominally for either 2007 or 2009. The OP makes no reference to the year of publication for the game.

I'm amazed to see this entry under "Lost Cities: The Board Game" and not Keltis... but I'm more amazed to see that the "Keltis" game entry doesn't exist!

I believe Keltis and LC:Boardgame are different enough to be different entries, or at least it should be listed as Keltis. LC:B is just a re-implementation of the original game.

When you list the Spiel der Spiele recommendations "hits for experts" (Agricola, Race for the Galaxy, Tribune: Primus Inter Pares), shouldn't you also list the other recommendations "hits for friends" (Galaxy Trucker, Stone Age, Witch's Brew), "hits for families" (Blox, Deukalion, Dragon Parade, Drachen Wurf,
Globalissimo), and "hits for children" (Auf die Schätze, fertig, los!, Click Clack, Lauras erste Übernachtung)?
And the Spiel des Jahres Nominations also (Blox, Stone Age, Marrakech, Witch's Brew), if not the whole recommendation list?

Good question, the way I interpret the "Hits" awarded by Wiener spiele akademi is that they are actual prizes not nominations - at least that's what it says on the logo that the games in question carry and on their website: "Im Bereich des „Brett- und Kartenspieles“, im Bereich des „Fantasy-Spieles“ und im Bereich des „Computer- und Konsolenspieles“ werden von den Experten der Wiener Spiele Akademie mehrere Spielepreise vergeben.
