Local politician Charlie Kane was caught violating curfew by the constabulary. Kane spent the night in jail, during which time the town deputy handed him a shotgun "for defense against those flying beasties". When released from custody, Kane was subsequently arrested for possessing illegal firearms and re-incarcerated.
Those encounter decks lead to some strange behavior, don't they? I think we all died laughing, just as the GOO awakened.

I look forward to any expansions to the Chrono family that Looney Labs may consider leading up to the 10th anniversary of the original game in 2010. More UberIDs, a timeline extension, more gadgets and artifacts... I'm itching for more!

My nephew Avi turned four, and he "taught" this one to his favorite uncle (who taught his mother back in '04). His interpretation of the rules is, erm, interesting... meaning about 60% correct.

I don't often buy a game first without checking it out on BGG first. I'm glad I got this one. Not since The Battle for Hill 218 have I gotten this much value at this low a price. Co-op steampunk game for the win!
Our initial enthusiasm has waned for it, because it's too easy.

My brother's fiancee taught this to me. After two hours, we scooped before finishing in favor of tacos.
I can no longer complain about the length of Lawless or Dead Money. I think I could eke in a game of Red November before finishing this.

At first, I thought this was merely a two-player variant of Chinese Checkers on a square grid. But then I fell for it... you can *only* move by jumping! Dad locked in on a killer strategy that I've yet to crack. I hate it when you chuckle like that, Dad.

My wife, my father, my stepmom, and I all sat down to learn this together. The theme may be weaker than Chrononauts, but I found the mechanics amusing enough, at least the first time. I'll pass on firmer judgment until I can get another session in.

The best Looney Labs Icehouse game of 2008, WW5 delivers what it promises... a Risk-like game that can be played in 30 minutes or less. It's earned the three magic words, "Let's play again!"
