Put in what you consider a bargain, tell us how much you paid and the place you got it from. Bargains can be thrift store finds or any second-hand purchases or discounted games bought new. Don't forget to add your encounters with the Thrift Store Irritant Squad™ and any other embellishments in order to make it even more interesting.

The shelves, they are yet again void of anything worthwhile. I blame the bus strike. Nobody wants to be on the streets at all these days, so that must be what's caused the lull in donations. Anyway, I take a look at the dangling sacs of oddity.
What? That's not what we're calling them? Well, it is now!
Anyway, in a dangling sac of oddity, there is a Blink. It's the spanky keen metal tin version. And it's still in the blister pack. There's no way I can resist this! And it will be an absolutely perfect game for my son.
"Hey Dad! I want to stall before going to bed. Can we play a game?"
"Sure thing son. How about this little 2-minute jobby?"
I'm such a nice guy.
Blink. Metal tin version in shrink. $3 at Value Village.
I saw a listing on CL for someone selling a whole bunch of mass market games. I wasn't going to post what I bought because none of them are too exciting ( mostly weird lisenced games like the Mr. T card game) but I'm bored so Ill throw up a couple of the higher rated BGG games.
Also found this for .99 cents. I started laughing when I saw it because a few years earlier I went into Value Village and saw someone holding a copy, looking it over, and I kept hoping "put it down" I'll take it. But alas, it was not to be. But yesterday it returned to me. Looks unplayed, but the box had a split on the corner. Anyone know how to fix these in a reasonable way without sticking tape all over it?
My apologies. I just checked out the Guild and found exactly what I was looking for. Geeks are awesome.
