Inspired by another GeekList (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/39391), the purpose of this list is to track the purchases that I've made during my first year since discovering the board gaming hobby. Considering that I only discovered the wonderful world of board games this Christmas, this really contains all the games that I own.

OK, so it's not technically all in 2009. I'm planning on tracking games from Christmas 2008 to Christmas 2009 and am looking forward to seeing what this list looks like in a year from now.

Pre-purchase: More of that gift card find! I enjoy word games but my wife doesn't as much. I bet I could get her to play this, though.

Pre-purchase: Haven't done much gaming recently for various reason. Man, has it been a long time since I bought a game!

I need a last minute gift for the wife for Christmas! Usually, if I bought her a game it is more for me than it is for her but she likes Pandemic much, much more than I, so this gift is definitely for her.

Post-purchase: She loved it! The new roles and scenarios are fun. Still not my favorite but it is hers.
