I have been reading the various threads/geeklists relating to Arts Cow Card Decks, and thought it may be handy to have a list of all the card sets that people have had done, with direct links to the albums they have made.

So if you have made a deck and would like to share the files with others, add it to the list.

PLEASE NOTE: Some items have been removed from this list as they violate the site policies against posting content which aids in making copies of published games without clear consent from the rights holders. Please do not post items that fall into this category.

It has been suggested that this list might be better in alphabetical order, to assist in finding games. So now it is.

If you want some good advice on how to successfully make a deck, visit this thread: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/395699

UPDATE: "There has been some confusion about how to create a link to read-to-buy cards, but I think with the help of Wulf Corbett and Grimwald, we've worked it out. To create an album of pre-edited cards with an 'add to cart option', the album creator should click the link in the Silverlight editor that says 'share with friends'. Then, on the next screen where you can email to a friend, you have to click the checkbox that says 'Allow add to cart'. That provides you with a working link that can be posted. I believe (though I'm not certain) that this does not allow you to go through the process of editing the album to combine decks, customize and such, so this method does subtract some utility." - As suggested by Nick L (nicodemus055)

Not sure how many you need of the 1s 5s and 10s, but I'm sure 2 decks should cover it.

I have yet to publish the rule set for these cards. Basically, I turned the d6 rolls into d12 rolls so that I could increment the changes between aircraft (a "5" or "6" to hit on a D6 is the same as a 9 or better on a D12 - statistically; thus a "-1" or "+1" on a D12 is less of a change than the same modifier used on a D6). Eventually, I will have the Med and Pacific variants done as well. 54 Axis aircraft in the deck: German aircraft have a black border; Italian's Green; Japan has the Blue border and other Axis Minors have a Red border. Rule set will encompass many of the web published variants: Rockets, Jets, Shrage Musik, Radar, improved escort aircraft, additional targets, different bombers (B24s and B29s for example), etc.

Thanks to Felipe Santamaría who provided and gave permission to use the plane images!

This great old-school word/card is tough to find... but easy to make!

The multiplayer game uses 108 cards. The solitaire game uses 54. I have two different card backs using the same front:

http://www.artscow.com/share/867p2b8r14wt (orange back)
http://www.artscow.com/share/ksymzr0m7sgl (green back)

The real Bali sets have two different backs so that it's easy to take out the half you need for solitaire play. If you don't plan on playing solitaire, you can print either one of these twice. If you might play solitaire or don't care about mixing backs, print one orange-back and one green-back. Having the two different backs mixed together doesn't hamper gameplay at all, although it feels weird at first.

NOTE: These decks differ from the official decks in that the wild cards in my set are worth zero points instead of five. Many players, myself included, prefer it this way, as wild cards are already powerful enough without being worth a ton of points.

Here's my remake of Balloon Cup.

Edit: Since the teal cards did not print out as I had expected I went thru & changed all the teal cards to blue. The new deck can be found http://www.artscow.com/gallery/playing-cards/balloon-cup-cor... . I also changed the card back image to match the front of the 4 place maker cards. I decided to do this for 2 reasons.
1) Arts cow did not do the other image justice. And more importantly,
2) I figured 1 side of the place maker cards could indicate high & the other side could indicate low. (Or you can just right high & low on either side & right 1/4 on the back of the cards respectively.)

As someone pointed out in a post below my deck requires the following set of cubes:
5 red
7 yellow
9 purple
11 blue
13 green

Old link: http://www.artscow.com/gallery/playing-cards/balloon-cup-sih...

Edit: Here's the link http://www.artscow.com/ShareAlbum.aspx?Key=xu08nsid to my Artscow album in case anyone wants to use the images I used to make their own deck. Furthermore, if anyone likes my artwork, but not the distribution of colors that I used send me a geek mail & I can let you know how you can change the balloon colors to colors of your choice. Note: This can be time consuming.

This beautiful Balloon Cup re-design deserves its own place on this list! I saw the link in a comment for another Balloon Cup re-design above, liked it, ordered it, and am very happy pleased with it! A bonus for some is that he specifically changed some balloon colors so that the cubes from Pandemic (+expansion) could be used!

Repost from game page's forum:

[q="tiggers"]So I've finally gotten around to biting the bullet and having a set of the cards for this game printed using Artscow. I've done a few recently and been reasonably pleased with the results (when using a discount coupon you can hardly argue with the price even internationally).

Anyway have a look: http://www.artscow.com/share/Battle-for-Hoth-Battle-for-Hoth...

I'll post pictures/report of mine when they arrive.

Edit: There were some spare cards (as this set only uses 50 of the 54 you get in a pack with artscow) so a made a couple of 'wilds' or spares. Also I ended up using one of my creations as the card back:

This is my album for Battleline (the Bugbear game). The artwork is from Kilgore, who generously posted his artwork a while ago, and Sippi posted the files I used to upload, so I won't take any of the credit for that (thanks to those two). I DID make some new cards from Kilgore's artwork, including a Tactics card and a Formation ranking card. I also have several versions of cardbacks that I was toying with.

If you use this album, DO NOT just do the auto-fill in or it will get all screwed up. I ordered four 54-card sets, which gave me three complete decks.

http://www.artscow.com/ShareAlbum.aspx?Key=i5rrym2i

Edit (04/05/09): Having received my decks, I realized I didn't zoom in enough once the cards were imported into the designer, so the black outline is not visible all the way around. They are still very nice, but not as "clean" looking.

As well as shadow_bind's excellent cards, I have added 9 flag cards (not nearly as good artwork) and the card back I made (three different border colors for troops, tactics, and playsheets - you can just make the flags double sided).

edit: Note that with the flag cards and player aids, it comes to 81 cards so 3 artscow decks will net you two complete sets.

edit2: links to projects. Print two of the first deck and one of the second to get two complete sets.

A lovely version on Artscow, featuring period artwork, courtesy of Juan Antonio Monton here:

http://www.artscow.com/gallery/playing-cards/battleline-part...
http://www.artscow.com/gallery/playing-cards/battleline-part...

If you're considering getting this, there are a few things to be aware of:
1. The names of the cards are in Spanish (top) and Greek (bottom). They are quite similar to the English names, and I find it adds an element of character to the period artwork; it's the numbers rather than the names that matter anyway.
2. Numbers are on the lower left and top right of the cards, which is somewhat unusual, and can prove to be a bit awkward depending on how you typically fan your cards. It's just something to be aware of, and while I didn't find it a big deal personally, some of the people I've played with weren't too keen on it.
3. There are Tactics cards included as well, but the text is in Spanish only, and the card backs of these cards are identical to the cards of the regular deck. I personally don't use the Tactics cards anyway.

When combined with some white glass stones, this is a lovely looking deck, and the current Artscow promotion definitely helps. Here are some sample cards:

Bibliogamo is a solitaire game of book production and libraries. In this game you will play the role of a publisher in the city of Bibliogamo. Using cards to hire artisans you will put them to work in 6 city tower workshops, each devoted to a different kind of book. An AI, representing the Chief Librarian of the City, will in turn tour the city buying books at what he considers their proper value. Prestige Collection cards will used in the game to generate additional VP depending on how well you can full the requirements of the Chief Librarian's collection.

You'll need to print up the game board under the BGG listing to play the game

This stamp-collecting re-theme, with attractive well-themed artwork provided by Steve Duff, deserves a separate entry. First of all, here are the direct links:
http://www.artscow.com/gallery/playing-cards/biblios-stamp-c...
http://www.artscow.com/gallery/playing-cards/biblios-stamp-c...

I own the Biblios edition, and took advantage of the recent Artscow offer to pick up this re-themed stamp-collecting version. It's a terrific re-theme, and Steve did a great job in putting this together. The final result looks very nice, and the colour scheme is similar enough to the published game so that you can use the dice from your Biblios edition of the game.

See the image gallery for more pictures of the cards from this custom deck.

These are my design for the event cards for Bindle Rails. Enjoy. (Note the border is slate blue now instead of grey)

This isn't for a game, but rather for an accessory:
The BBTM:TCG Cheater Token Draw Bag.
http://www.artscow.com/gallery/bag/blood-bowl-cheater-token-...

Put all the cheater tokens in this bag and draw them out as needed.

The design is the same on the front and the back.
Unfortunately, it does have the unsightly white at the top.

From http://www.cheapass.com/freegames/brawl :

"Because these decks have 54 cards, and we aren't able to mix back designs, we decided to make "extended" versions of all six characters. These decks contain a 52-card BRAWL deck, plus a recipe card that tells you what's in each deck, and how to strip the deck back down to its original 35-card size."
