I have been reading the various threads/geeklists relating to Arts Cow Card Decks, and thought it may be handy to have a list of all the card sets that people have had done, with direct links to the albums they have made.

So if you have made a deck and would like to share the files with others, add it to the list.

PLEASE NOTE: Some items have been removed from this list as they violate the site policies against posting content which aids in making copies of published games without clear consent from the rights holders. Please do not post items that fall into this category.

It has been suggested that this list might be better in alphabetical order, to assist in finding games. So now it is.

If you want some good advice on how to successfully make a deck, visit this thread: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/395699

UPDATE: "There has been some confusion about how to create a link to read-to-buy cards, but I think with the help of Wulf Corbett and Grimwald, we've worked it out. To create an album of pre-edited cards with an 'add to cart option', the album creator should click the link in the Silverlight editor that says 'share with friends'. Then, on the next screen where you can email to a friend, you have to click the checkbox that says 'Allow add to cart'. That provides you with a working link that can be posted. I believe (though I'm not certain) that this does not allow you to go through the process of editing the album to combine decks, customize and such, so this method does subtract some utility." - As suggested by Nick L (nicodemus055)

printerstudio.com actually prints tiles (albeit for a memory match game). But maybe their service would be more suitable? Unfortunately you can't share designs, but it is something they are supposedly working on.

Just an FYI.

Event cards and Item/Poker cards for my PnP solo dice game, The d6 Shooters. There are two sets of Event cards, one set for each of the two different scenarios (Long Road to Reno, Ghost Town Showdown). Many of these are duplicates, but there are some cards unique to each scenario and some small changes necessitated to certain cards to work with each episode.

IMPORTANT: I made a major error in my original upload, and didn't realize it until I was fixing another mistake. I was three escape cards short. I'm terribly sorry to folks that have already ordered. If you'd like me to send you the original files, just let me know. Again, I apologize!

I revamped Dark Cults using a Magic: The Gathering card generator. Other than the new images, the only change I made was to add some variety to the generic start cards. More images are available in the game's gallery, and I'd love to hear what folks think.

CORRECTED LINKS:

1 of 3: http://www.artscow.com/gallery/playing-cards/dark-cults-of-f...

2 of 3: http://www.artscow.com/gallery/playing-cards/dark-cult-of-fi...

3 of 3: http://www.artscow.com/gallery/playing-cards/dark-cults-of-f...

When I added in the blank extra cards, I used the following breakdown, so that if I used them all the different types would stay about equal. There was enough space to include two sets:

Atmosphere: 4
Object: 2
Character (evil): 2
Character (neutral): 2
Danger: 2
Location: 2
Pace: 3
Save: 1
Start: (always add so that there is an odd number)
Threat: 1
Escape: 1
Death: 1

EDIT: Whelp, I just found an error on one of my start cards. It reads "The rundown museum containing obscene fragment of a lost city." There should be an "an" in there. Apologies. I'll fix it before I put up the finished link. Problem fixed.

Here is an update to the original deck. I corrected the Location cards to make them fit with the Object cards from the expansion. I also fixed the cards so that the card number on each card (for instance, 1/7 or 2/7 on the object cards) is the correct number. The make-your-own cards don't add into that count, so the numbers on those cards don't mean anything.

Can you create a gallery of just the three escape cards for those of us who already have everything else? It gives us a chance to simply tack them onto another order which is already short of 54 cards.

That's a great idea. Thanks for helping me scrape some egg off my face!

This album includes three more escape cards and the fixed location cards (that just means each location also has an "O" for the expansion's object cards). The card back is also included.

The Dash-in Dungeons demonstration game requires you to print out several black and white pages of cards, cut them up and in some cases glue backs to the fronts. Tedious. Instead I offer the Artscow colour version of this demonstration game:

http://www.artscow.com/share/e7l8o34ap9qr

The rules are available from the Dash-in Dungeons Free Demo webpage:

http://www.dashindungeons.com/free-demo.html

In fact the rules are required to play.

There are some minor difference between this and the real version of the game, none of which effect gameplay in any way:

* The graphics are lower resolution that the real game, however they are those from the real game. I doubt you'll notice the quality difference without a side by side comparison.

* The colours of the cards and their backs are quite different to the originals in some cases. This is a function of the different printer since the graphics are identical.

* Many of the cards are double sided to reduce the count to a single 54 card deck. The full game has all cards with information on one side and a colour back on the reverse.

* There are less of several of the cards than even the original demonstration version has. Again due to the count limitation of an Artscow deck.

Permission for use of the images on the cards has been obtained.

Another deck for use with Dash-in Dungeons.

This deck contains lots of gems (treasure). These cards are used exactly like the gold cards included in the game. The gem denominations go quite a bit higher however.

http://www.artscow.com/share/mdly0x7j9gn5

Of course a collection of gems like these could easily be used for plenty of other games.

Didn't make the deck but from playing around with it in the creator, it looks like the cards and custom back would not have to be zoomed.

I've tried registering the Decktet as a template with Arstcow, so that I'd be paid something. I am waiting for them to confirm my request.

As for Game Crafter: They changed their international shipping options last Fall, and a number of people from Europe and Australia have ordered copies. I do not know how much it is for shipping to Canada.

You could use the "dot" method (put a white dot on the card back graphic, then colour with a pen to distinguish decks), though as you say its probably unnecessary.

Just ordered a set of these from Artscow, can't wait until they arrive!

Also, maybe it's me being dense, but I visited the link above (
http://www.artscow.com/share/zqgg6fvwpquo) and I can't see anyway to just order the deck. I had to find the 54 card product, then auto fill all the cards from the album, then individually zoom and remove poker text.

It shouldn't have been accessible at all. At the request of the deck creator I removed the files. See the game page for reasons.

This isn't good then. I have a pack of cards on it's way to me, and no way to get the rules

Can anybody geekmail me a plain text copy of the rules (it seems the dispute is with an artist, so this should be ok surely?)

Thanks
Andy

Just discovered Delve and these look terrific. Any chance we will see the other 8 heroes and encounters from some of the other adventures? The art really adds to the game and I'd love to have more than the basic game and sands of time looking cool.

I am in the process of ordering the cards through artcow. It asks for a size. The choices are 4x6, 5x7, 8x10 etc... Which is the optimal size for the cards?

the sizes you are referring to are photo print sizes.

you need to go to the tab "create your own stuff"
click on "cards & stationary"
hit the button "create your own items now"
select the type (referenced in above post)

The variant allows solo and coop play of Descent and incorporates the 3 regular expansions (NOT RtL or SoB. Although Gelatinous is working on something for RtL)

I was actually surprised to see these had not yet been added to this list yet. Warp also created a couple artscow decks and rules to play Doom: The Boardgame coop or solo.

Only the first printing of Diamant came with the board, but the image was made available for those, like myself, who bought later printings. I thought that the image would work well for a mousepad / board. It does! Trim the edges of the mousepad and it fits nicely in the box.

A Lowenherz Variant (ArtsCow Porject)

For those looking for an answer to the age old question "Can I play Lowenherz with my copy of Domaine?" Now you can: with the rules found here:

http://boardgamegeek.com/thread/801025/a-lowenherz-variant-a...

And a copy of this ArtsCow:

http://www.artscow.com/gallery/card/Domaine-lowerhenz-l81gg5...

you can play a reasonable facsimile of Lowenherz with your copy of Domaine.

Two reasons actually. First, Charles printed his custom board to fit his Trivial Pursuit thrift board and cut off the tanks. So he needed a replacement. I plan to use my extra tanks for ease of use. Sometimes the regular tanks can get full or requires some extra reaching to revive.

Is there some way to pick and choose as I can with other users' cards?

If you do happen to go on with expansion cards, I hope your good spelling keeps going and you remember there's an e and a ' in 'thopter.

I did a deck, with two zoom-outs on each card. You can just 'add to cart' on this one.

It also looks like Elacca Drug is on there twice. Any plans to add the other expansion cards to this deck?

Thanks! From what I can tell Artscow doesn't let you do that. I will play around with some of the other deck options but I think you can only pick one card back.

I believe there is a limit to how many coupon orders they take in a given day. It said as much on my last promotion e-mail for a floor mat, 100 piece/day first come first serve. I imagine the card limit is higher but it looks like they reached it yesterday. The code worked for me this morning.

Word of warning.

Be careful when ordering from Artscow during February. It can be that the wife, flicking through the online accounts quite innocently can spot an entry for "Artscow" and wonder, hmm, that's strange, Jim never buys anything from Artscow, whats that`? She doesnt know of course that you've shelled out for some custom Up Front decks. So when she logs on to Artscow and is assaulted by a swathe of valentines day gifts and other such tomfoolery, she IS going to wonder who the hell you've been secretly spending $100 on, so please, do keep an order receipt and a pack of custom printed cards handy.

If you are called Jim, or do plan to spend 100 dollars on valentines day skullduggery, I can recommend simply picking up some artscow printed card sets as a handy alibi. Shame on you though.
