I have been reading the various threads/geeklists relating to Arts Cow Card Decks, and thought it may be handy to have a list of all the card sets that people have had done, with direct links to the albums they have made.

So if you have made a deck and would like to share the files with others, add it to the list.

PLEASE NOTE: Some items have been removed from this list as they violate the site policies against posting content which aids in making copies of published games without clear consent from the rights holders. Please do not post items that fall into this category.

It has been suggested that this list might be better in alphabetical order, to assist in finding games. So now it is.

If you want some good advice on how to successfully make a deck, visit this thread: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/395699

UPDATE: "There has been some confusion about how to create a link to read-to-buy cards, but I think with the help of Wulf Corbett and Grimwald, we've worked it out. To create an album of pre-edited cards with an 'add to cart option', the album creator should click the link in the Silverlight editor that says 'share with friends'. Then, on the next screen where you can email to a friend, you have to click the checkbox that says 'Allow add to cart'. That provides you with a working link that can be posted. I believe (though I'm not certain) that this does not allow you to go through the process of editing the album to combine decks, customize and such, so this method does subtract some utility." - As suggested by Nick L (nicodemus055)

176. Board Game: Pest Control [Average Rating:6.75 Unranked]

A (very) quick playing real-time rummy style game the aim in Pest Control is to clear your hand of pests (cards) before the other players.

Players have a hand of 7 cards, which they play down by making nests (melds) of 3 or more cards either of the same type or in sequential order, i.e. a run. Cards may also be added to nests played by any player. On their turn players either pick up a card off the draw deck or the entire discard pile, they then discard a card. However cards may be played down by any player at any time during their turn or other players turns,in other words the game can end at any point, meaning you have to keep a close eye on what the other players are doing and how many cards they have left. Cards left in the hand score negative points, the person with the lowest points at the end of the game is the winner.

Pest Control is a print & play game by myself and my wife which can be tried out first with an ordinary pack of cards if you are only playing 2-4 players - instructions here: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/404942

To make the full game all you need to do is to make two decks of 52 using this album:

http://www.artscow.com/ShareAlbum.aspx?Key=phz8xot8

Rules can be found here: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/filepage/42356
Hope you enjoy the game, any feedback or comments would be appreciated.

These are the companion cards to my PiecePack redesign. This is the basic set that matches the normal Piecepack. Each set is 24 cards with 2 jokers which leave 2 blanks per deck. Each of the cards besides having the Piecepack suit also has a letter which is why I added the jokers so I could have 26. I've also included pips in 2 denominations to match Icehouse pieces & 3 arrows in yellow, green, & red on all cards but the jokers. These extra bits are unobtrusive but may help in designing games.

The decks are divided in 2. The 1st deck is the standard & playing card set as they go together to for a 6 pack. The 2nd is the seasons & elements set. I've made them but I haven't ordered these yet but I haven't had a dud deck yet & I've ordered piles of other decks from Artscow.

Deck 1 - null to 5 standard & playing card set
Deck 2 - null to 5 seasons & elements

This is a sample image from some of the suits with the last image being the back.

The files for printing your own deck of cards are HERE
The main Piecepack files are HERE

PiecePack Quite Extended

These are the companion cards to my PiecePack redesign. This is the same as my other deck but this is from null to king. There are 5 decks in total. The first deck is all the nulls from all sets plus cards from 2 Icehouse games Twin Win & Apophis to fill in the spaces. This deck will have to be printed. The other 4 decks are the base set plus the 3 expansions with the denominations from ace to king. These could actually be just printed up to replace a deck of cards. You can pick & choose which deck or decks you'd like to print.

Null deck plus Icehouse cards
Standard deck ace to king
Playing Card deck ace to king
Seasons deck ace to king
Elements deck ace to king

This is a sample image from some of the suits with the last image being the back.

A long out of print game, brought back from scans of the cards and a component list from a friend.

Deck 1:
http://www.artscow.com/Member/ShareProduct.aspx?ShareKey=e6u...

Deck 2:
http://www.artscow.com/gallery/playing-cards/-0aqepx6frplh

Deck 3:
http://www.artscow.com/gallery/playing-cards/-vjwaomx3tohf

The three decks get combined to play. There are some extra population cards because 54x3 = more cards than in the original. Also, the player aids ("Plague" on one side and "Prosperity" on the other) are two separate cards instead of two sides of one card.

Been looking everywhere for this artscow deck, and just found it in another artscow thread. Thought I'd help out by putting it here.

Todd Sanders (dumarest123) also had a pretty sweet 'slim' card deck for pocket civ that, until recently, has been incompatible with the artscow cards (hence the 'slim' title). However, Todd has recently been tinkering with his slim deck (since so many people like it) and he says that he'll have something that works with artscow in the near future. When I hear back from him, I'll post the artscow album here so we have two options to choose from.

Be forewarned, the slim deck is very attractive, but it is also less color-blind friendly (no hexes and circles to help distinguish the colors). Also, the handshake symbol has been changed to a crown.

On the plus side though, the different branches of advance cards are color coordinated, which makes it easier to decide what advance track to take. I love this feature (even though I happen to be one of those color blind people).

Pocket Pro Golf™ is now available through Artscow! It took a while to get the scaling on the cards exactly right so that the fairways, tees, and greens would print at exactly 100% (so the holes at the edge would line up to form a single normal sized hole), but we did it!

Game Rules

Tee up for the opening drive!

Pocket Pro Golf™ brings you the best aspects of real golf--club selection, careful aim, and shot consideration--in a pocket sized game that will fit in any golf bag.

One to four players can play anywhere from a single hole to a full round of 18 holes.

Pocket Pro Golf™ shows you the "narrative" or each shot as it works its way down the fairway. Watch as your ball comes perilously close to each hazard. Did you plan the shot well enough to keep your ball on course?

Note that you will get 54 cards in the deck. The 6 that were removed were two fairways, two green, and two course cards. I will have these available as an extra packet that people can get buy directly from me for $2 (includes worldwide shipping).

You can also buy the bagged components from me for $6.50 or get both the components plus the extra cards for $7.50 (includes worldwide shipping).

Money for Power Grid:

http://www.artscow.com/ShareAlbum.aspx?Key=ixwcg3aq

3 decks.
1) 54 cards of the 10's
2) 54 cards of the 1's
3) 27 cards of the 5's and 50's each

all 3 decks use the same back.

Not cheap even with the discounted prices, but I have had a lot of people ask where I got them.

This card set is meant to represent the resource resupply rates for each of the different country and number of player combinations. Basically, before each game, you find the card that represents the map you are playing with and the number of players.

There's one card image for each country and number of players.

Well, almost. Since there are 10 maps available and one of them (Korea) needs 2 sets of cards, that came to 55 cards. Rather than create 2 decks (with a lot of waste), I combined France and Italy into a single card set. Technically, I could have combined more of them, but since you have to buy an entire 54 card deck at a minimum, it didn't make any difference.

Here is my English version of this fun little matchmaking game.

Much thanks to a fellow user for provided the translated from english source file.

It takes three decks. (one deck also replaces the board with cards)

The third deck has some blanks in it (I used them to print out some more cards for my retheme of Dilbert: Corporate Shuffle) Feel free to use them for some other little expansion.

All you then need is to add is some pawns and optionally dice.

The cards do line up properly for scoring.

I like the coasters posted above, but I decided to try to go big --and made much large game mats (8.5" x 16) for Quarriors and I really like them. Note: these arrive rolled but stay flat pretty well (the medium bar mats are soft rubber/foam floppy mouse pad type substance). It comes in a set of four in the four player colors

Voxen's RFTG Expansion (#1) Version 1.1(FINAL)
This is the minimalist version of Voxen's expansion. 54 hand-picked cards from his 72, designed to be combined with the base game only, with his 5 "Agendas". The rules are here.

RFTG Custom Expansion: "Knowledge and Power" (by scwont)
These are the 54 main cards for his expansion, designed to be combined with the base game only. If you print this 54-deck on its own, use a 3rd Expedition Force for balance.

RFTG Custom Expansions Completist Pack + Kearse Expansion
This is for those who want to splurge on the full version of Voxen's expansion, as well as Matt Kearse's 20-card custom mini-expansion and scwont's 55th card. This contains: 1) 10 blank cards. 2) scwont's 55th card (use instead of the 3rd Expedition Force). 3) Voxen's 18 additional cards. 4) Voxen's 5 agendas. 5) And most importantly, Matt Kearse's 20-card mini-expansion, designed to be used with all official expansions up to The Brink of War inclusive.

The Rainbow Deck is a cardgame system that has a total of 162 cards. There are 12 suits with each suit having 13 ranks, and 6 Joker cards. The suits are represented by both colour and number. The ranks are from 0 to 9, J to K. The cards also numbered from 0 to 119, and have letters from A to Z.

The deck can be adapted to play a variety of games, just like a deck of Poker cards. The difference is that Rainbow deck has 8 more suits, numbers from 0 to 119 as well as alphabet letters, thus it is most suitable for playing abstract games that require numbers, colours or letters. It can also be used by game designers as components in their own prototype games. Players can also combine the deck with other boardgames with components having colours, numbers or letters to from new games!

The deck can be complemented by 6 colours x 27 chips and 6 coloured dice. This allows playing of cardgames that require chips or dice. Also, the cardbacks have a 2x3 checkerboard pattern and they can be used to form boards which, together with the chips, can be used to play a variety of abstract games.

2 decks are needed and supports 6 players.
Also possibly gives you a generic 6 suit x 15 card deck...

I created a set of RGB color cards to help me pick colors when making game prototypes. I do quite a few card games and I like to color code the suits, among other things. Anyway, being (a) colorblind, and (b) the opposite of artistic, my colors frequently don't come out the way I intend, especially as printers and monitors vary quite a bit.

So, print these cards on YOUR printer to have a handy set of color samples. The list item here links to the the zip file of PNG formatted cards, and I uploaded these to Artscow as well, where I intend to print 2x of each card so I will have a handy reference to how MY homemade cards will turn out on THEIR printers.

Hope this is useful to others.
