Steve Jackson's Designs

For better or worse, without those endless hours of Hacker and Illuminati to get me started, it seems unlikely I would have ever ended up playing so many better games. As such, I thought I ought to start a Geeklist containing all of Mr. Jackson's games.
Originally the list was intended to be chronological, but it has been somewhat unrealistic to do that as some early games were not added to BGG until after the list was created. Also I have fogotten to include some, from time to time. Still, this list should provide some value, and showcases the many many expansions, I mean games, that Mr. Jackson has created.

And another. This time, new cards are added to allow all the various Munchkin games to fit together better... or something.

This entry was screwed up before.
The first expansion to Munchkin. At the time, Steve Jackson noted that he had never intended to make any Munchkin sequels, but for the overwhelming demand from the fans. I find it unlikely that anyone could have predicted all the expansions that would be made.

In his latest stake-holder address, SJ noted that Munchkin sales were 40% of the company's earnings in 2004.
Now then, here is a brand new Munchkin stand-alone game that as usual combines with the others, etc. This is now the 5th Munchkin stand-alone game.

A popular convention game run by the SJGames staff, this was released due to popular demand. A quasi board/roleplaying game about keeping your tribe of hunter/gatherers fed and the offspring protected, as I understand.

A popular convention game. Lego pirates on Lego boats do battle with each other. Sort of a miniature wargame. Has been available as a free download from Mr. Jackson's website for years.

One of the last releases from SJgames for 2005 will be a sequel to Munchkin Bites with 110 new cards and 2 blanks. As always, it works with munchkin, etc, etc.
Pushing the horrifying internet nerd factor even higher, it features additional art from sub-talented webcartoonists.

And the first SJGames release for 2006 will be... another Munckin expansion, this time for the base game, which hasn't been expanded in some time. How much does a complete Munchkin set cost, anyways?

Back when I still cared about INWO, I was looking forward to the long rumored expansion, Bavarian Fire Drill. Well, it looks like that isn't every going to come out, instead BFD is a new illiminati expansion ala Y2K, new cards to represent the current world. As well, artifacts, one of the card types from INWO and now introduced to Illuminati.

A new, stand-alone game with the same mechanics as Chez Geek. This time, the game revolves around "Reluctant Revolutionaries." Not completely compatible with other Chez games, but some cards can be used with the others, and vice versa.
112 cards, Art by Greg Hyland.

I, on the otherhand, am running out of dismissive things to say about the product line.
