The oldest game you own

Tonight we decided to break out something really old, just for fun. Which led me to think...
What is the oldest game edition you own? Not necessarily the oldest one based on publication date, but the oldest specific edition you own?

I have the 1977 Hansen version, but the original was published in 1975. I'm surprised this one didn't get sold in a garage sale. It hasn't been played in decades.

Saved it from someone's garbage some years ago. No great game, but still a game, only one marker missing. Don't know if I ever play it again, but garbage? NO!

I own the second edition from 1974 (still unpunched)

I bought this in 1974 IIRC. Still have it too, but it's beat-up. I am looking for a shrinkwraped bookcase version if any of you have one for sale.

This version from 1945.
I got mine at a flea market in excellent condition for $5.00.

These might stretch the definition of 'game' a bit, but they are essential to many games and more than a few games can be played with dice alone. This is a pair of Roman dice from the 1st century AD, plucked from the Thames; they are at least as old as my copy of Avalon Hill's Tactics. I picked these up at an antiquities shop near the British Museum.

Got this off ebay. Used to play it in the late 60's with a friend of mine.
I also have Diplomacy, an older game but I have a newer version of it, like most I would guess.

I own not one but two copies of TwixT* in the original chubby box (1962). One has plastic posts, the other wooden posts, so the latter must be older (by a week or two). Unfortunately, I have not seen either copy in years. Next month I will be down in Tehachapi and will pull the last of my junk out of Jonathan's garage. I hope I find them.
I also own a copy of Acquire with wooden tiles, but not the "world map", so it's no earlier 1963.
And somewhere I may still have an original 1955 Careers board. Not any other components; just the board.
My friend has a 1933 Monopoly set. No chest on Community Chest, and no Uncle Pennybags to be seen anywhere.
* The name of the game is TwixT not Twixt. I got BGG to fix this once, but then someone broke it again.

Frisko - 1937. I've collected antique games for many years, and have a large number of things that would fit this geeklist perfectly. One of my favorites is a company out of Albany New York, THE EMBOSSING COMPANY, that made games with embossing machines by compressing images into wooden bits. The company closed down and sold out to Halsem in 1955. The company was most famous for its building blocks and alphabet blocks, but made MANY dominoes editions, as well as checkers, building and design sets, "Bottoms Up", "Flappers Fortunes", backgammon, mah jongg (rare) and chess. They also imported a rare and highly collectible constructor set called "Meccanno". The company advertised using the motto "Toys That Teach".

I know I probably shouldn't raise this Geeklist from the dead, but I just had the idea to make a Geeklist with the exact same topic... And rather than starting a new list, why not continue this one?
Anyway, the oldest game in my collection is probably this one. At least it is the oldest one I have already added to my collection here on BGG. The are still games hidden away in closets, nooks and crannies that I have not included here and there might still be one around somewhere that is even older.
Shamefully, my copy of this game isn't complete anymore. I haven't checked it in detail yet, but I know it is not complete because there's only one ( ) ship left in the box (the white one).

This game was released by different publishers from 1938 on, my edition is from 1940. Apparently released in huge numbers initially, only a few copies have survived the war it seems. Some musea have this game in their collection (Cologne, Berlin), and I have seen one copy for sale with an antiquair in the Netherlands.. for around 400 euro.
I picked up my copy for 15 euro at a small auctionsite. Missing 3 playing pieces, but in a good condition for the rest (better than the other ones I saw). The playing pieces themselves are awesome, made from clear colored shiny bakelite. A lust for the eye really. (the images in the game entry are from my copy of the game)
Shame about the politics though...

This is probably the oldest thing I have in my collection. I got it at a thrift store so there's no telling how old it actually is, but it does look old

The version we have seems to be a Canadian edition from the 1920s. Unfortunately, it's missing several cards, but it only cost me $8, and makes for a great conversation piece.

I found this game in an old collection of Sunday School materials, still in shrink wrap. Something inside me wondered, "When did they start putting games (and others items) in shrink wrap?" I still don't have a good answer to that question. Anyone?

Finally got my hands on this one. The rules have a 1955 copyright on them. I'd have to check but I think this may be the oldest complete game I have.

Got it on a local flee market during the 80's - was very surprised, that
there had been a market for an expensive 'cosim' in Germany before WW I

Found my copy in a small store somewhere in Kansas last summer (a great US tour). Pending patent says 1935. Box is all white but sadly has no map...

An old one that I regret not rescuing from my parents' basement was an original 3M/Avalon hill version of Bazaar. The components were not exceptional, but I loved the box it came in.
Even though I can't imagine playing it, my parents still have an old version of Finance and Fortune - the also-ran version of Monopoly. That's one I may have to rescue just for historical value.

Of course, this lists the games by publication date of their original edition, not by the edition that you own.
