To celebrate my April 7th birthday, here is the new list. Sorry for the delay. I was going to iron the bugs on the tool here before releasing the new list, but I should put it soon.

Welcome everyone to the April 2010 Edition of the Geekgold for Game Lottery. Thanks Blott for the amazing Idea and thanks everyone who took part all these times.

These are the Rules

How to bid for an item?
If you see an item on this geeklist that you're interested in owning:
1. It couldn't be more simple. Just tip that entry 1 and you are entered to win that game.
2. Check the description to see if you are allowed more than one entry on the item.

How to put an item on the lottery?
If you have a game that you're willing to part with for a little geekgold:
1. Post it as an item on the list.
2. Include a full description of the edition that you have and its condition. Be very clear on conditions, marks and box
3. Specify if you will be limited in shipping options. If you ship internationally, if the shipping is on you, and if so how much.
4. Specify when your item will close for entries.
5. You can post both RPG Items and Boardgames.
6. The item must be draw before 30th of April 2010

What to do when the lottery ends?
1. When closed, draw a random name from those that have tipped your entry. If you allowed multiple entries remember to take it in consideration.
2. Contact that person and arrange shipment of the game.
3. Send them the game.
4. Edit your geeklist item on this list with a note saying that "THIS ITEM IS CLOSED!" and to put the avatar of the winner, use the code [ username=name_of_winner] (without the space) for that.
5. When an item is closed I will move it to the bottom of the list. Please don't delete them

How to find the winner?
You can use any fair method you like, like putting the names on a hat and drawing it. But there are two favored methods.

1. First we have the Original Awesome Tool. Created by jeromier. It is very simple to use, but can only deal with one type of bonus (X bonus GG for each Y GG tipped) and limit the amount of tip.

2. Second we have the Copycat Awesome Tool created by yours truly. It can deal with any amount of items drawn on your listing, and any kind of bonus calculation that deals with the tip values only (and a few others). The rolls are trackable for anyone to see, and you can use it anytime to check how many tips and the winning percentage of everyone. It has a few statistics which I'm improving on. The only thing is that for an item to use it, it must be inserted by me, and that takes about 1 or 2 days, usually.

Special notes
Special Note #1: If you are giving an item, there is no guarantee for number of entrants. You must be prepared to give away your game even if you only receive a single geekgold entry. Do not enter a game unless you are prepared for that outcome!!

Special Note #2: If for any reason you are forced to withdraw a game you offered, you must refund all geekgold tipped to your entry.

Winners and Drawn Items
Subscribe to the Subscription thread. I update it (usually) daily, and there you can find a list of new items, and the winners list of all the lists we run so far.

Uberplay Uber-Fast One Week Raffle 2 Pack!

Robin Hood looked over his martini, past the gigantic television, and at his lovely wife. "My dear, do you even remember when we were robbing from the rich, taking their gems and then passing them on to the poor? It seems like it was a dream."

"Indeed, a very bad dream. Why did we ever give it away, this stuff is great!"

This is what happens when you mix games. Dangerous indeed.

Items in the raffle:

High Society (Uberplay, like new)
Nottingham (Uberplay, like new)
- Nottingham has a custom condensed rulebook, and a custom (but boring) tuckbox, making it easy to travel with the game.

4 cloth bags with squeeze top.

Up for lottery is a set of 4 bags 13.8 cm x 9 cm with the kind of top that you squeeze to open. I recently found a whole bag of these at the thrift store & thought these would be great card holders or dice bags or what have you. They all have a monogram on them but they're tastefully done. There are far more than I need & since I'm a geek pauper & my next clay offering is not quite finished, I thought I'd put these here. (I like my smilies)

Bonus: Ok, if this actually goes over 50 I'll throw in another bag. If this for some weird reason gets to 100 it'll be a full set of another set of bags. That's 8 bags altogether, whoo

***100 reached, 4 extra bags thrown in meeple

Handmade Polymer Clay Cthulhu Coins with Bag

40 fimo coins in 2 denominations, gold Cthulhu & silver Elder thing. These are what is euphemistically called rustic which is code for not uniform by crafters & realtors. They are quite thick at roughly around 5mm thick, more like checkers than coins. The silver coins are 2.5 cm across & the gold ones are 3 cm. They come with a simple unlined bag I made of some sort of suedine type fabric.

My favorite one is the Elder Thing one, you don't see them much and 'At The Mountains of Madness' is one of my favorite Lovecraft stories.

1 = [b]1 entry

Bonus:If this gets to 250 I'll add in one of my previous fimo lottery sets, ships, robots, mythos, or alien-monsters. Winners choice.

GM sent!

So, like Sol, it is also my birthday in April. I will be listing some games, and will end them on April d10-2d10-4, which is my personal favorite day in April.

What's up for lottery?
The first offering is a mint in shrink copy of Midgard.
When?
Ending on April 24, I will do the draw on Sunday morning of April 25, whenever I wake up and recover from my birthday night festivities cool

How much to enter?
Each entry costs 1 , and I will give the usual bonus entry for 5 bag (6 entries for 5 bag )

Delivery?
I will ship for free via Priority Mail in the US, and cover the first $10 anywhere else in the world by the cheapest delivery mode I can figure out.

Since we are over 100 , I will ship this to Canada for free, using First Class Mail. Hopefully this will encourage some more gold from just across the border.

If this gets over 300200 bag, I will ship anywhere in the world for free (but still by the cheapest mode possible)

Edits:
1. Reformatted entry to give it some color + vvvoom
2. Lowered free world-wide shipping threshold
3. Free shipping to Canada - let's see some more Canadian gold (and I don't mean Molson)

Game Condition: I got this game second hand, so you'll be getting it third hand. I haven't played it yet, so the game is in exactly the same condition as when I got it. There's a small dent on the bottom left corner of the box, but other than that, everything is complete and in great condition.

Shipping: FREE Worldwide Shipping (I'll pack it as well as I can, but no promises on its condition upon arrival)

Draw Date: April 30, 2010

Entry Fee: 5 for 1 entry. 10 bag for 3 entries. You can purchase as many entries as you would like.

Well, its April 30 (here in Manila anyway), so its time to draw a winner. And the winner is:

As a check, this geeklist item should have received 254 geekgold.

There are 300 effective entries from 44 unique tippers

My random pick is: Reprint

============================

Here's your chance to win a copy of the english Mayfair edition of Shear Panic. I bought it thinking my wife or daughters would enjoy it, but it's never made it out, and after two years, I need to clear off the shelf space.

Condition: It's been opened but never played and the player boards have been punched out. The downside is that, thanks to a combination of me stacking a bunch of games up, and a cat who just wants love, the box fell off the table. The two corners of the box top have split (opposite corners), and the ear of one sheep broke off (the "Shearer" -- the bottom sheep of the double-sheep pair). Otherwise, it looks fine.

Shipping: This is my first auction and I'm not sure if this will come back to haunt me, but i'll ship for free anywhere in the world.

Auction Close: The auction will end Friday, April 30, at 5pm CST. I'll do my best to post the winner later that day using one of the posted tools.

Bidding: 1 for one entry, 5 for 6 entries.

Good luck!

You will be contacted by geekmail shortly. Thank you all for bidding!

We're apparently not allowed to have an image of this expansion, but that doesn't mean you can't have a copy in your home! Lucky for you folks I have an extra one!

This bid is for the Warhammer Campaign Pack Grudge of Drong!

This campaign pack pitches the Elves against the Dwarves in a series of battles about Dwarven pride and Elvish trickery. Includes the buildings (un-punched), roster pad(complete!), battle lists (still on the backing!) and the little multi-fold brochure that GW threw into everything they made in the 90s. The box a little caved in on the top and there is a small puncture in one corner, but the innards are fresh as they day they were made.

These were going for 30-50 on ebay depending on who was selling though they appear to have dried up recently, so if you're the patient type (which I'm fully not ) you might be able to turn it around for some cash!

Hey, lets prod and poke and raise the ire of Games Workshop even MORE! Lets make it a WARHAMMER CAST-OFFS LOTTERY!

If we get above 50GG I'll throw in all of the Fourth Edition Warhammer things that I gathered during my E-Bay lot buying to complete my 5th edition library! That means:

Warhammer Armies: High Elves 4th edition - good condition
Warhammer Armies: Chaos boxed set (box is players to poor, but the book and cards are all present and accounted for and in good condition)
Warhammer Rulebook 4th edition and a handful of loose magic cards from 4th

I will ship free to the Contiguous 48 states, everything else I will cover the first ten bucks.

1 gets you one entry, 5bag gets you six. A comment on the item gets your post a thumb! Reading the item gets you well wishes and good vibes!

This will run until 11:59PM EST April 30th, and I'll use the G4GG randomizer tool thingy to pick a winner some time after that,

Thanks for looking and happy gaming!
