3rd. Price: Bonus winner

Well, this one was the hardest one for me. I had 13 entries chosen and I had this secret thing in my mind I used to search for the third winner.
I looked for three things:
1) Congrats to me and Agnes
2) Correct entry
3) Great reasoning or story

I had some trouble of deciding here, because there were so many good ones, so I was able to choose 3 best ones and from them I randomly draw the winner. I'm sorry, I'm weak, I wish I could give you all something great.

So, the winner:

As for the price, I thought here many things, but this one is like the third price, so I will make it 15$ game winner choosing, so choose well.

I hope there is no hard feelings from all the rest participants.
I can tell you that this is not my last give away, so be on the alert.

I hope all the winner now can help me to get their games as cheap as possible, somewhere near them would be best.

THANK YOU ALL FOR TAKING PART IN THIS!

Hello, hello to all.

I wasn't planning to give away any games again any time soon, because I just had one give away after I got the Love Spreader award, but now I got another award - Geek Of The Week.
And to celebrate this I decided to give away 3 games to random user here on BGG.

Las time I had 5 items I chose random, but this I thought we could do something little more different. These games I offered last time might not be what you want, so this time we do the following:

First you could thumb this list to keep this on the first page as long as possible.
Then you add here geek list item with the name of the game you wish to have. Only rule is that the game should cost less than 60$ (because I will pay the shipping too). Then write short about why you want this game. This might be just few words, but I would love to read them all. And to the end add a second game you would like, if for some reason your first choice wasn't picked as winner. I will make the first item as example for you all anyways.
The second game you add should be valued less than 30$ (again, I will pay for shipping)

Drawing: I will draw this item on the 5th of September, because this is Agnes's birthday (user LilyGirl). Drawing will be easy - use random number generator to pick two users.
1st. winner will get the game he/she listed as item.
2nd. winner will get the game he/she wrote as second choice.

Bonuses: This wouldn't be as fun without bonuses. Same bonus as last time - for every 0.5 tip to this geek list you will be added to the draw one additional time.

Bonus 2:
Who will write me best reason/story/words why he/she wants the main listed game and for some reason don't win, will get something special from me. Maybe something off her/his wish list as third winner.

Things to remember:

1. Recommend this list.
2. Add item with game in 60$ dollars, write short reason and then add second game under 30$
3. You can get additional bonus for 0.5 for tipping the list.
4. Check back with the list around 5th of September, Agnes's birthday.

Good luck.

PS! Edit: Everyone check your entries. Check that games are cheaper than the numbers I wrote before. If it is more expensive, I hope you have solution written there (like you are willing to pay for shipping), because I will not accept the offer to pay the difference to me, because the shipping is more expensive for larger and more expensive games. You can offer to pay for shipping.
Also check that you have selected only one game for 60 and 30 dollars, so total of 2 games. I will not accept a list of games to choose from. Choose now or later I will draw your name and you have there a large number of games, I will draw another winner.
Also everyone who has entered their wishes as comments, make them as geeklist items as well.
Drawing will be later today, Sunday the 5th...

Choice Numero Uno: Galaxy Trucker, because I have dreamed ever since I was a young boy of piloting a flying junkpile across the galaxy to fortune and adventure, and this game seems the closest thing to realizing that dream. Perhaps I looked up a to Han Solo a bit too much as a child, but there is a massive appeal to flying about and hoping the plumbing is enough to keep your tub in one piece. Sadly, I cannot afford my own crap heap simulator, as unemployment has left a gaping hole in my accounts.

Choice the Second: Race for the Galaxy, because taking over an entire galaxy is just darn cool. And if someone disagrees, that's what the airlock is for!

Best wishes to Agnes on her birthday!

(if either of these bumps over the price limit, let me know and I'll gladly cover the difference/shipping)

I'm a pretty new user at BGG.com, and as new in board games. Lately I read a lot there, reading reviews, forums and such of games if I can find games I'd like. I choose Puerto Rico because in almost every review somebody mentioned or compared the the reviewed game. Bumping in Puerto Rico everywhere I was getting interested in it, then I realized it is the number 1 board game and also number 1 strategy game according to BGG rankings.

The second game I choose is Taluva. I met this game by accident surfing on the site, and the beautiful artwork, the simplicity of the rules staggered me. I love beautiful games, like Tikal.

I'm maybe not the newest member of the the community, definitely not the oldest or most experienced. I'm still forming my gaming group (of which I'm going to be the supplier and rule explainer and either of thees games would be a nice addition to my small collection. I would reason with this to the random number generator

Thank you for the opportunity, dare I say, in everyone's name

The secondary game would be Resistance the PNP game soon to be released by IBG.

So, let's see. How about Claustrophobia, a game who's name I experience to some degree when spelunking and riding around in cars with small back seats.

For dessert, I'd go with Pandemic: On the Brink ... because I think I'm on the brink of missing this contest. How did I not see it before?

First choice is Thebes. I want this game because I am all out of my gaming budged for the month (snagged a copy of War of the Ring at FLGS) so I can't buy it. Only way to get it is for free. Or wait a couple months and buy it then. Since when is that fun?

Second choice: Summoner Wars Phoenix Elves vs Tundra Orcs set.

First up's Castle Ravenloft. In my spare time I hunt the living dead. It's rewarding. Full moon, howls in the night, slithering stalkers, bloodsuckers. Very poetic.

But it's not prosperous, so I would have to select Dominion: Prosperity to enhance my income. Although that may not be the most lucrative idea to cross my mind.

Why: I had a dream once about this game, in the dream I was playing the game with the following George Washington, my cat Attila, Tommy Gunn, and a giant lego Minifig. Turns out Washington was terrible and he blammed it on the cat so he said he wanted to start over not sitting next to the cat. The cat left the table to eat and then I started having a conversation with the giant lego minifig about the proper building techniques for a to mini-fig scale yacht. Then I woke up and realized that I had just had the weirdest dream ever because A. Washington is dead, and b I don't even own Warrior Knights so that means someone else had to bring it and I don't want to miss an oppourtunity to play with that group of people because I forget the game.

Second game,

Mr. Jack because it is the best two player game I have ever played.

Second option would be the card game Anima: Shadow of Omega.

Wow, what an amazing and generous thing to do! Thanks a ton!

My first choice would be Twilight Struggle.

Why?

I've been trying to get my wife more into board games recently, and have found it difficult to find a really great 2-player game for us to enjoy. According to the ratings and reviews I've seen on this game, it looks like it would be a great game to introduce to her.

My second choice would be Wits & Wagers.

Why?

Well, whenever I have family or friends over, they refuse to play trivia games because I seem to be able to retain knowledge regarding the most random, useless things. Having this game would give us a fun party game to play with friends and family where everyone would have more of a fair chance.

Actually, if there is any game I really want to own, I buy it. So for there to be a game I want, it would have to be something I can't buy. Something new. Something rare. Something only found in Estonia.

First choice is Claustrophobia because I cannot afford it on my own and I need a dungeoncrawl that doesn't last hours and hours.

Second Choice would be The Swarm it comes in at just under the 30 dollars at most retailers and I love the theme.

Thanks again for doing this
