3rd. Price: Bonus winner

Well, this one was the hardest one for me. I had 13 entries chosen and I had this secret thing in my mind I used to search for the third winner.
I looked for three things:
1) Congrats to me and Agnes
2) Correct entry
3) Great reasoning or story

I had some trouble of deciding here, because there were so many good ones, so I was able to choose 3 best ones and from them I randomly draw the winner. I'm sorry, I'm weak, I wish I could give you all something great.

So, the winner:

As for the price, I thought here many things, but this one is like the third price, so I will make it 15$ game winner choosing, so choose well.

I hope there is no hard feelings from all the rest participants.
I can tell you that this is not my last give away, so be on the alert.

I hope all the winner now can help me to get their games as cheap as possible, somewhere near them would be best.

THANK YOU ALL FOR TAKING PART IN THIS!

Hello, hello to all.

I wasn't planning to give away any games again any time soon, because I just had one give away after I got the Love Spreader award, but now I got another award - Geek Of The Week.
And to celebrate this I decided to give away 3 games to random user here on BGG.

Las time I had 5 items I chose random, but this I thought we could do something little more different. These games I offered last time might not be what you want, so this time we do the following:

First you could thumb this list to keep this on the first page as long as possible.
Then you add here geek list item with the name of the game you wish to have. Only rule is that the game should cost less than 60$ (because I will pay the shipping too). Then write short about why you want this game. This might be just few words, but I would love to read them all. And to the end add a second game you would like, if for some reason your first choice wasn't picked as winner. I will make the first item as example for you all anyways.
The second game you add should be valued less than 30$ (again, I will pay for shipping)

Drawing: I will draw this item on the 5th of September, because this is Agnes's birthday (user LilyGirl). Drawing will be easy - use random number generator to pick two users.
1st. winner will get the game he/she listed as item.
2nd. winner will get the game he/she wrote as second choice.

Bonuses: This wouldn't be as fun without bonuses. Same bonus as last time - for every 0.5 tip to this geek list you will be added to the draw one additional time.

Bonus 2:
Who will write me best reason/story/words why he/she wants the main listed game and for some reason don't win, will get something special from me. Maybe something off her/his wish list as third winner.

Things to remember:

1. Recommend this list.
2. Add item with game in 60$ dollars, write short reason and then add second game under 30$
3. You can get additional bonus for 0.5 for tipping the list.
4. Check back with the list around 5th of September, Agnes's birthday.

Good luck.

PS! Edit: Everyone check your entries. Check that games are cheaper than the numbers I wrote before. If it is more expensive, I hope you have solution written there (like you are willing to pay for shipping), because I will not accept the offer to pay the difference to me, because the shipping is more expensive for larger and more expensive games. You can offer to pay for shipping.
Also check that you have selected only one game for 60 and 30 dollars, so total of 2 games. I will not accept a list of games to choose from. Choose now or later I will draw your name and you have there a large number of games, I will draw another winner.
Also everyone who has entered their wishes as comments, make them as geeklist items as well.
Drawing will be later today, Sunday the 5th...

I need a war game. I started playing Risk all the time in middle school. I still enjoy an occasional game, but with so many other great games I have now (Euros), it doesn't get much play.

I played Axis and Allies for the first time a few weeks ago. I liked it, but it takes forever to set up, and people take forever to decide what they want to do. However, it did definitely scratch an itch I have for some COMBAT!

I think Memoir '44 would be the perfect next addition to my collection.

I would really like to win this game because I have heard so much about it but have yet to play it. I do not have much room in my budget right now for board games. My wife would not like it if I spent money on games instead of diapers for the kids. I have been looking at the Dominion Bundle with the expansion and sleeves on Coolstuff for a while now and may some day be able to afford to spend the money on it. I am hoping Potty training goes better soon and then I can spend more on games. So help me keep diapers on my girls butts, noone likes kids just pooping on the floor...

2nd game Dominion: Prosperitybecause if I don't win the first place prize the second will scratch the same itch!!!

Why?

The person I play games with most is my wife. Approximately a year ago she became obsessed with the Facebook game "Farmville". She plays it everyday, for some reason that I don't understand. However, it may work in my favor when it comes to playing board games I've played Farmville myself, and although it isn't my cup of tea, I see mechanics in the game that resemble that in Agricola. Besides, it's the #2 game on BGG so it's got to be great, right?

2nd Game

Roll Through the Ages: The Bronze Age

I would have to say Roll Through the Ages! A civilization game that plays in 30 minutes? I'm in! The components look wonderful. It's been given great reviews and those wooden dice with all the glyphs...awesome!

Raiko,
Thanks for running the giveaway.

I choose Taj Mahal as my first game. I am running the Reiner Knizia geeklist tournament, and Taj Mahal, ranked #4, is the highest ranked Knizia I have not played. Unfortunately the Knizia geeklist doesn't attract so much attention/thumbs these days when many generous people are running giveaway geeklists. Can't complain though.

My second choice would be Amun Re. Ranked #7 among Knizia games on the geek, it's of interest to me because it's the second highest Knizia game I have not played.

There may be many more expensive, higher ranked, and more desireable new titles than these two but I think in order to be a well-rounded geek you have to play the classics, like listening to Beethoven or Buddy Holly.

I first played this game at the 2009 BGG.con. I mentioned that I enjoyed it and someone in our group and they brought it to a local gameday. My five year old son loved it and almost won a few games. The owner is now working a different shift and rarely brings it. It would be one of the only dexterity games I own so I really should pick it up, I've just not got around to it.

Second Game
Battlestar Galactica: Pegasus Expansion

I purchased the game in December of 2009. Shortly after it arrived, our home was broken in to and all new in shrink games were stolen. I've replaced most of them but this one fell victim to the insurance deductable as several others in my game group have it. BSG is my favorite (and most played) game and we have on occasion not played it due to me not having the expansion and nobody else having brought it. (And you just can't play without all the new cards and characters!)

Why?
Well, I played this game once, and I lost terribly. I don't take losing to a board all that well, and I'm determined to beat this one someday. Also, I'm sick of getting my butt kicked by my girlfriend...I'd much rather give kicking butt with her a try, so a co-op game would be awesome.

Why Lost Valley?

Several reasons actually.
Overall, I love Wild West themed games and this one interests me quite a bit. It reminds me a lot of the old PC game Lost Dutchman's Mine. I believe it is simple enough that my children can enjoy it while still containing enough strategy that I can also get my wife to play as well; and I need more games that will get the whole family involved. I have made several trade offers for the game but still no takers so if selected as the winner the new game would mean a great deal to me. Additionally, the drawing date is just a few days before my birthday, thus making for a special added bonus!!

Second choice would have to be Dry Gulch. Another wild west themed game that I feel concentrates more so on resource management and building, which is my favorite type of game. Although it may be a little more than my youngest might enjoy, I am pretty sure that I could get the rest of the family to play.

Finally, I would like to thank you for your generosity in sharing with the rest of the gaming world and congratulate you on the BGG award.

I chose Fresco because it's a medium-weight Euro, with nice bits, that I enjoyed playing earlier this year. It's been the top of my wish list since, but I've been holding off buying it since I recently bought a house & became a papa. Fresco also should have won the Spiel des Jahres this year (IMHO), instead of a party game.

My second game is Egizia. I've wanted this one since the last Essen fair, but needed to wait for an English version that my friends would be able to play. By all accounts it's a nice, enjoyable twist on worker placement. Waiting on this one too for the aforementioned reasons.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy your time in the BGG sun & that your friend has a nice birthday. Thanks for running the contest....

Awesome idea!

First Choice: Le Havre

Why? Because I've never even witnessed it played, and that makes me sad. It looks like an amazing game, right up my alley as my favorites include Agricola and Caylus. I'm interested in the solo version because I don't imagine I could talk my wife into playing this one.

Speaking of my wife...

Second choice: Glory to Rome

We're going to Italy for our 1 year anniversary (which happens to be Sept 5th, no joke).

So it would be awesome to get an game themed around Rome (where we'll be spending the bulk of our time there). We would treasure it forever

My second choice would be Roll Through The Ages.

Because deep down inside, we're all secretly wishing to take over the world and bring about a new order of gaming and general awesomeness.

My second choice is:

Zombie State: Diplomacy of the Dead - it's Pandemic, but awesomer.

This is my little way of increasing the value of your GeekGold. You're welcome.

Why? - Because I don't have any "war"-like games with head-to-head confrontation. And the rules are simple enough that the whole family can play (or at least in a few years).

The second game would be Zooloretto, again because it looks like a good family game.

Many thanks for your generosity and Happy Birthday to Agnes!

Yo, thanks for the cool giveaway.

1. My first choice is Earth Reborn. This game looks so sick.

2. My second choice is Race for the Galaxy: The Brink of War. I have the rest of them and this would complete my collection.

You are a great geek!

I love Melissa, but don't tell her. It's a secret if she can find this. Shhhhh....

Why? Because it is the expansion I don't have yet. This is pretty inexpensive so it is my first & second choices
