3rd. Price: Bonus winner

Well, this one was the hardest one for me. I had 13 entries chosen and I had this secret thing in my mind I used to search for the third winner.
I looked for three things:
1) Congrats to me and Agnes
2) Correct entry
3) Great reasoning or story

I had some trouble of deciding here, because there were so many good ones, so I was able to choose 3 best ones and from them I randomly draw the winner. I'm sorry, I'm weak, I wish I could give you all something great.

So, the winner:

As for the price, I thought here many things, but this one is like the third price, so I will make it 15$ game winner choosing, so choose well.

I hope there is no hard feelings from all the rest participants.
I can tell you that this is not my last give away, so be on the alert.

I hope all the winner now can help me to get their games as cheap as possible, somewhere near them would be best.

THANK YOU ALL FOR TAKING PART IN THIS!

Hello, hello to all.

I wasn't planning to give away any games again any time soon, because I just had one give away after I got the Love Spreader award, but now I got another award - Geek Of The Week.
And to celebrate this I decided to give away 3 games to random user here on BGG.

Las time I had 5 items I chose random, but this I thought we could do something little more different. These games I offered last time might not be what you want, so this time we do the following:

First you could thumb this list to keep this on the first page as long as possible.
Then you add here geek list item with the name of the game you wish to have. Only rule is that the game should cost less than 60$ (because I will pay the shipping too). Then write short about why you want this game. This might be just few words, but I would love to read them all. And to the end add a second game you would like, if for some reason your first choice wasn't picked as winner. I will make the first item as example for you all anyways.
The second game you add should be valued less than 30$ (again, I will pay for shipping)

Drawing: I will draw this item on the 5th of September, because this is Agnes's birthday (user LilyGirl). Drawing will be easy - use random number generator to pick two users.
1st. winner will get the game he/she listed as item.
2nd. winner will get the game he/she wrote as second choice.

Bonuses: This wouldn't be as fun without bonuses. Same bonus as last time - for every 0.5 tip to this geek list you will be added to the draw one additional time.

Bonus 2:
Who will write me best reason/story/words why he/she wants the main listed game and for some reason don't win, will get something special from me. Maybe something off her/his wish list as third winner.

Things to remember:

1. Recommend this list.
2. Add item with game in 60$ dollars, write short reason and then add second game under 30$
3. You can get additional bonus for 0.5 for tipping the list.
4. Check back with the list around 5th of September, Agnes's birthday.

Good luck.

PS! Edit: Everyone check your entries. Check that games are cheaper than the numbers I wrote before. If it is more expensive, I hope you have solution written there (like you are willing to pay for shipping), because I will not accept the offer to pay the difference to me, because the shipping is more expensive for larger and more expensive games. You can offer to pay for shipping.
Also check that you have selected only one game for 60 and 30 dollars, so total of 2 games. I will not accept a list of games to choose from. Choose now or later I will draw your name and you have there a large number of games, I will draw another winner.
Also everyone who has entered their wishes as comments, make them as geeklist items as well.
Drawing will be later today, Sunday the 5th...

Wow.

This is a stellar and very generous offer. Good luck to everyone!

I picked the "Dungeons & Dragons: Castle Ravenloft Board Game" because I'm tired of the six-hour epic games of "Descent" and/or getting stuck being the friggin' DM all the time. A game we can all play co-operatively within a few hours with the monsters run "A.I."-style sounds like heaven.

As a second choice I would love to have the Memoir '44: Campaign Book Volume 1 to complete my collection and link all these expansions together in some semblance of order.

Congrats on the GOTW win and thanks again for the opportunity!

I'm quite impressed by your largesse and generosity. No wonder Lilygirl likes you.

This looks like a really interesting solitaire wargame, and I don't get enough chances to play wargames with live opponents. I don't want to abuse your generosity, so I propose the following if I win - buy either of my two proposed games from sellers here in the US via the BGG Marketplace, and have them ship to me.
- Cheaper shipping
- More $ for BGG
- Game goes from a BGG'er looking to get rid of it to a good home.

Wins all around.

2nd choice: Kamisado

Both of these games are for sale new by US sellers in the marketplace. And again, thanks!

Wow, the most generous guy on BGG does it again! Very nice Raiko!

My first choice is Catan Histories: Settlers of America – Trails to Rails. I confess that Settlers of Catan was my gateway game. Although I don't play it much anymore (after 50 or so plays), it still has a warm place in my heart. I love the rethemed approach to Settlers of America and am hoping that this will rekindle that original magic!

My second choice is Jaipur. I saw this game highly recommended by indigopotter on a thread once and it has been on my coveted games list ever since.

First pick: I am picking this because I love all things D&D. I can't wait to get my pre-order of Castle Ravenloft, and this is a perfect compliment to that for bigger, badder adventures!

Second Pick: Witches brew. I have been looking at this for a long time and never pulled the trigger on it. It looks like a lot of fun, and who doesn't want to make spells!

My first choice is Dungeon Lords. My gaming group enjoys dungeoncrawl/fantasy games and this title appears to be a different and humorous twist on the genre.

Second choice: Railways of the World Card Game. I like the option of playing full rules with my friends and the simplier "family" variant for a session with my daughter.

First of all congrats on Geek of the Week, and second of all happy early birthday to Agnes.

First Choice : DungeonQuest caught my eye because it seems like a game you have to work at to survive and winning it would never feel like a hollow victory like some games do. And a 15% chance of winning just makes me want to play it over and over to see just how hard it is.

Second Choice : Race for the Galaxy seems to have the replayability of games like dominion, but also seems to have enough different routes to victory to make each game a new experience.

Thanks for being another awesome BGG user.

What a generous offer - nice one

We're a small, newish gaming group with LOADS of enthusiasm and not quite so much cash, so new purchases tend to be top 100 games. However, I've had my eye on this for ages and I love the concept and theme (what's not to love about throwing your friends' pieces into a volcanoes - oh, and history of course), while the board/pieces look great. It's also hard to find in the UK cry

Under 30 euro back-up game: Power Grid. So high on the geek list, but it looks so dull I can't see it ever getting to the top of my wish list! That said, one of our group bought Agricola...

First: I recently decided to collect the first three CoH games as my only hex and counter wargames. I already have SoS and am looking forward to PoH, which will have a box designed to hold all three! AtBwould complete me!

Second: Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer - I really like card games and this one seems like a nice design. A quicker playing, simplified Dominion featuring more tactical decisions than strategic planning.

Thank you for this generous contest!

First choice: When my oldest son was four, we bought and constructed several and varied lego sets. Some of our best times together were spent playing this lego world where vikings and adventurers teamed up with knights to fight off a wizard and his robots and dragons. The playtime meant a lot to him and eventually his bedtime stories began to revolve around this island where many different groups were each trying to build up their own civilization while at the same time using diplomacy and war to make alliances that would eliminate other groups. If only I could commit to a writing schedule, I'd make a novel of what we came up with.

My son is now 9 and loves playing games with me and others. This seems like a perfect one to keep around the house and bring out, both to remember our own stories and to hopefully keep my creative juices flowing.

Second choice: Lost Cities

I think this is a game my wife would enjoy. It's all about quality time.

I would really love a copy of Carcassonne: The City. My usual group includes my best friend and our respective wives, and while the wives enjoy games they are pretty picky. As such it's been hard to find a game that everyone can enjoy, and the original Carcassonne has far and away been the most popular.

That said, we've now played some 200+ games of Carc and I would really love to change things up a bit. The City is still simple to play to offers a little more depth. I think it would be a hit and offer something new and interesting as well.

Second: Carcassonee: Abbey and Mayor. Not as exciting as The City but would still add some variety to our Carcassonne nights.

I've always felt like this was "the classic that's missing from my collection." I hear so many great things about it, I'm dying to play it. But no one I know has it. I've almost bought China on several occasions, but something draws me to the original. I think it's the quirky cover illustration with the puppets.

If out-of-print games are out... backup First game:
Le Havre... Played this once and loved it. The insane number of different resources appeals to me for some reason. I think my wife will love it too, considering her Agricola obsession.

Second game:
Alea Iacta Est... Once the Macao that I've ordered arrives, this will be the only missing game in my Alea collection. (waiting for an English version of Glen More). They just look so pretty together on the shelf, I cannot resist them! Alea could put Candyland in "Alea big box" format with a smiling gingerbread man on the side and I'd probably buy it.

Why? - This game looks like a lot of fun to me for the stories it creates. I used to GM and write custom RPGs for my friends and family and this sort of game appeals to me since I can play too!

I love reading the Arabian nights and the Tales of Sinbad and this looks like it really evokes the ambiance of the stories.

As a second, I would choose Race for the Galaxy. This game sounds like it is right up my alley and I would love to play it.

Thank you for your incredible generosity.

Another for Cyclades!

Why? Because this games just oozes awesomeness and would fit in well with my collection. That and I think my wife will shoot me if i buy another game anytime soon. She'll be A.O.K with a free one though.

You rock for being so generous!

Second: Kingsburg because I've heard good things about it and like both FFG and dice games.

Oh great Geek of the Week of amazing generousity...how can I praise your charity to our wretched geekless and weekless selves? Probably by begging for a game...so here goes.

This solo naval wargame really captures my attention. Why?

1) I don't have any naval wargames
2) My solo selection is limited/not really have
3) Getting wargames of any kind in Indonesia is very difficult
4) I am moving to a different island where there are no other gamers/wargamers to my knowledge

I'm really fascinated with the content as well because a lot of the submarine war in the Pacific happened in and around Indonesia! So, it wins on 4 levels: wargame, solo, naval, and local feel.

Finally, I'm not sure that this is actually under $60 (though it appears to be). If it isn't able to be got, D-Day at Omaha Beach would also do nicely. Thanks!

Conquest of Paradise is my second and cheaper option. Why?

Firstly, I feel like I live in paradise, despite the many problems, this truly is a blessed world that we live in. Secondly, I live in an island in the same ocean as the setting of the game. Thirdly, I've always been fascinated by the hybrid between tile-laying and wargame. Fourthly, this could really fill up a 3-player hole that my collection has right now...especially as a game with some conflict!

Why: Once upon a time, in a world filled with doomsday machines and candies, hopped around this fearless Zombunny with no panties. One night, he saw a Zombcarrot abducted in a ray of light by this Zombcow-Saucer. Little did he know about the Zombissile that appeared out of nowhere to whack it down. And the story ended well with the Zombrat wedding the Zombat, with a toast of Zombrains and the benediction of Zombunny.

Second game: Lutinfernal
Why: There was this story about an Alienbunny which met his loved one, Alienparrot, in a downtown alley...

(In a blink of lucidity, thanks a lot for the initiative! )
